Was buying a $25,000 tractor that the throttle linkage was very tight on and very hard to move so I asked the owner if he would have the lock nut loosened before they delivered my tractor. To my surprise he resisted and argued that it was to much work for them and that he had notified Kioti and they had not fixed the problem. The other people that complained about this company and its owner were very right to say the least. This man Scott should never deal with the public. Needless to say the kept the tractor I will and suggest you shop elsewhere too. BEWARE! more

Individuals who work for Haltom Equipment are rude and obnoxious. I requested an online quote for the best price to purchase a S800X and received the third degree from a Scott. Where was I located? He didn't want to do business with me if I wasn't local. He accused me of trying to get a lowball price stating, "" I don't play that game."" You would guess in this economy a business would be more than happy to accomodate requests from potential customers. I guess this one has more business than it can handle without being rude. I would highly recommend going elsewhere where you would be appreciated as a customer. more

I would not recommend buying anything from this place. They ordered the wrong chainsaw bar for me and wouldn't refund my money.\r \r I walked in and told the guy what type of stihl bar I needed and he sold me one. After I left I looked at the bar and it wasn't the right gauge that I had asked for. So I went back in and he said to leave the bar I bought and he would just order one and I could pick it up 2 days later.\r \r I show up to pick up the bar he ordered and its not the same type bar, its a laminated less expensive piece of junk that actually sells for a lot less. The guy was really rude when I said it wasn't what I asked for and wouldn't work with me at all. He even insulted me saying I was a know-it-all. It was apparent that they were trying to take advantage of me because I'm young and they didn't think I would know the difference, so they thought they would just pocket the extra money from the price difference.\r \r I just left with the bar I didn't want and told them I would never due business with them again. more
