One of the last honest mechanics 11/18/2011

have been to a few local mechanics in the area but when I finally found Halsey's I never turned back. O.K. one time due to the economy I went to a competitor who gave me a few hundred dollars off on a job. What a mistake that was. I had problem after problem. That is what I get for trying to save just a little. I took it back to Halsey and he got my Mountaineer back in good running condition. There has never been a time that I have gone to him and left feeling like I was over charged or treated unfair. He is mid range as far as cost. Never over charged and not too cheap due too cheap parts and poor quality of work. They never do any work on my car without telling me my cost up front. No surprise charges and the service is quick! He doesn't hold my car hostage for days on end. Beto is great. He knows everything about everything!! Pros: null Cons: null more

I HAVE LIVED IN SANTA CLARITA FOR 12 YEARS, I HAVE BEEN TO ALL THE #1 SHOPS ( THEY SAY)FOR WHEN I HAD MY LIMO;S , SUV AND 3 OTHER PERSONNEL CARS THAT HALSEY'S HAS AND WILL SERVICE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ONE OF A KIND, RIGHT DOWN TO WALKING INTO THE DOOR AND BEING GREETED BY THE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE SERVICE MANAGER BETO, HE HAD TO TROUBLE SHOOT MY VERY CLEAN 1995 BLAZER, HE WENT WAY OUT OF HIS WAY TO FIND OUT WHY WAS MY SUV HAVING A STRANGE PROBLEMS, ANY OTHER SHOP, WOULD TELL ME TO PICK IT UP AND TAKE IT TO A DEALERSHP, LIKE I SAID YOU CAN TRUST THESE GUYS IN SANTA CLARITA. THANKS GUYS SEE YOU AT MY 3000 MILE CHECK UP AND IT'S RUNNING GREAT. more

My family has been taking their cars to Halsey's for over 30 years, and we have been very happy with their honesty, customer service, and reasonable prices. It is so nice to know that they will do a good job for you-- they know what they are doing----and that you will never be taken advantage of. It is not often you find any business, let alone an auto service, that has very friendly, reliable, trustworthy, helpful and personable employees. I recommend this shop to all my friends and family and know I can trust my cars to their care. more

Great Local Mechanic with Excellent Customer Service 5/11/2009

My nearly-11 year old car needed brakes as it approached the 200k mile mark. I was quoted a good price and the work was completed quickly and to my satisfaction. I also had hoses and belts repaired, 2 tires replaced and alignment. Prices were very reasonable and again, the work was completed to my satisfaction. To cap it all off, Halsey sent a "we appreciate your business card". There's a reason he's been in business for decades. Thanks!
