my son attended helpern its 2010. they treated him horrible they would not work with me as a parent who wants to be 100% involved they hid alot of stuff gave him kindergarden work.And one man was emotionally and phisically abusive towards him mr.shiff. My son started at Halpern in July of 2006. After attending 4 different schools, Halpern seems to be the right place for him to be. He has made a tremendous improvement since he started there. The staff is absolutley terrific with not only my son, but myself as well. Most of them are willing to take time to chat with me when I go there and most are very positive about the ""long term"" outcome of my child. He is in a classroom where he gets the extra help and attention that he needs and his teacher and the aide are AMAZING individuals! They can do what seems impossible to anyone else. They have a very positive impact on him and I am very pleased to say that my son is finally coming around and getting the education that he deserves Thanks to Halpern Education Center. Some days are not easy days but with the extra support of so many individuals, it makes it seem better. Everyone has a job to do but also work as a team which is very important! They go above and beyond to help any of the children that attend their school, and for that, they deserve recognition beyond the imaginable!!
