Halo charged more on thier fee that was legal in Washington. They were hard to contact and get advice when I was served papers for a debt. In essence they did not provide the debt service,the customer service or the support they said they would. When push comes to shove they are not there. more

MY EXPERIENCE WITH HALO WAS NOTHING BUT POSITIVE. I FELT OVERWHELMED WITH THE CREDIT CARDS.I HAD FOUR CREDIT CARDS. Appreciate the assistance in cleaning up my credit card situation. 11/10/2010

Everyone that I have worked with at Halo has been friendly and helpful throughout my process. My only concern is the number of people I worked with during my process - there seems to be a lot of turnover and it got confusing as to who I was supposed to contact at any given point in the process. Would be simpler to have 1-2 contacts rather than 3-4. more

Halo helps 11/4/2010

I was in debt over 15k. I could not afford the monthly payment on my credit cards especially after having to move to a rural area. Halo set me up with an affordible monthly "savings plan". They contacted the debt collectors and settled with the most reasonable amounts. I am debt free now thanks to halo. I would recommend them to anyone who is struggling to pay down debt. more

Excellent service, delivered better than promised! 10/29/2010

Three of four credit card debts were negotiated down considerably, in a time frame much shorter than anticipated. The 4th card was pulled from the program because the agency would not negotiate with Halo. Knowing what I learned from Halo, I was able to negotiate that 4th debt down to 50 to be paid over 8 months. more

Very positive experience. Don't make a decision on past reviews 5/26/2010

I have almost completed the program. The estimated time for completetion was Spring of 2011. I will probably have everything taken care of by late summer 2010. Most of the settlements have been 30%. (One less one a little more.) I have had to borrow some to get these taken care of so quickly. So, if you use this company, be sure to have a plan to have a way to secure funds to settle quickly if that is your desire. I almost did not go with Halo because of some negative reviews and blogs online. I am glad I ignored them. Will update later this summer to report on progress of settlements remaining. more

A SURE SOLUTION TO DEBT RECOVERY 5/19/2010

When I finally made the decision to join up with Halo, from that point forward, my life took on a whole new independent type feeling. Trying to deal with the banks who owned the credit cards we were debt "drowning" from, was such a hopeless way of life! Once Halo got involved with their professional team members, we have already settled (2) accounts with more offers coming. In just eight months we have reduced about 20,000.00 of credit card debt with a payoff of only 5500.00. This is only because of Halo's excellent handling of my accounts and their ability to deal with Banks who only care about increasing their profitabilty/bonuses!! Great job Halo and your team members! more

Very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and helpful 5/19/2010

I was very impressed with Halo Debt from the first time I spoke with my representative, Sue. She assured me I would be well taken care of and that is exactly what has happened. My consultants have been answered all questions thoroughly, professionally and with a great deal of knowledge of this industry. So far I have been able to settle two of my major debts at 60% of the debt which has been such a huge stress relief! I'm not finished with my program but at least I have a solid plan and a workable solution thanks to Halo Debt. more

Not excited, due to no kind of action since signing up, just collections from my account for Halo Debt. 5/19/2010

I am concerned due to the fact that I only keep getting letters from creditors both on program and current ones I have. They are reducing my limits, stopping some credit cards and the only answer i receive is that we are going to start working on my accounts. Yet ther is no record anywhere showing what action has taken place other than withdrawing funds from my account every month. If I sound disappointed I am, felt that by this time at least one or two accounts could be settled. When i started this program I had 3 accounts under $800.00,now every account has over $1200.00 due plus escalating interest every month. I would think these accounts could have had some action taken up to now with my savings over $2500. more

Very easy process. 5/6/2010

The first person I spoke to over phone explained the process really well. Everything was very easy. I just had to log on to do a few things, there was not too much paper work, and I did not have to go to their office really at all. Also, they were good about responding to any issues or questions I had. Going through this process, you find that things change, and the professionals at Halo Debt Solutions are easy to talk to. They explain what is going on. I am actually happy with them. We are now in the process of negotiating to get out of our debt situation earlier than I anticipated. more

Halo Debt Solutions really did everything they said they would. They kept me up-to-date on what was going on. Every step of the the process they would tell me what to expect. They were very helpful about making sure I understood and also were great at answering questions. Make sure to ask questions if you don't understand something. They really fulfilled everything they said. more
