The drapery panels were as pictured and priced....no big surprises. I also knew when ordering that they were non-returnable, which has turned out to be sickening, considering the panels look gaudy on my window. I also read before ordering that the panels were samples, so I shouldn't have been disappointed to see a few snags in the fabric. I'm assuming these panels have been ordered and returned a few times. more

I ordered a 120" velvet curtain and fabric swatches on Dec. 3rd. We are in the cold northeast and I thought the curtain would help insulate large glass doors. It's Dec. 27th, and I'm still waiting for the curtain (and the swatches). more

We were very dissapointed with our experience with Half PriCe Drapes. We had ordered the Poly Taffeta/Kaleidscope/Pole Pocket/Interlined/Weighted/50x96 drapes. After we received them - we hung them up against our brightly sunshine lit window only to discover that the drapes were essentially dry-rotted and had cracks and tears in the seams and places where they had been folded. I called them after discovering the problem and whoever answrered the phone at half price drapes acted like they didnt believe me when I explained what was wrong. I finally got an RMA # but they only crediteed me for the original cost of the drapes. They did not credit me for the freight I paid ($9.99) when they shipped them or the return by UPS ground freight which cost me ($16.80). We are now out -$26.79 just because they sent us some old dry rotted drapes. I would recommend Overstock.com or Amazon.com for anyone looking for drapes. Believe me, they are 100% hassle free and pay freight for their defective returns but this company does not. I would not recomend this company to anyone and I will not do business with them ever again. more

My drapes turned out NOTHING like depicted 12/25/2010

My drapes turned out NOTHING like depicted. In fact it was so bad that I NEVER even took them out of the box upon delivery! They are still inside the plastic and sitting in the box. They are not even close to the color that they claim to be. They were advertised as SILVER. They also looked silver on the website. I thought they would be perfect. BUT...what I received are dark charcoal drapes, they do not look silver at all!! I cannot use them and I paid a lot for custom drapes. It is sickening! Funny how when they shipped them they said the color was silver grey altho it never said grey anywhere previous to my purchase. I do see it says silver grey now on the site tho. VERY Very Unhappy! more

I am a designer who has ordered draperies from Half Price Draperies. The quality of the workmanship and the service were both excellent. I bought some beautiful silk draperies on sale, however, and did not realize that there was a fading running through one panel. It worked out since it was in a model and tucked behind a chair. Other than that, my experience was entirely satisfying. more

The drapes are nice looking from a distance but when I got up close and inspected them as they hung I noticed at least one large flaw in one of the drapes plus small runs from needles in a few of the panels. I am not as happy as I thought I would be bearing the testimonials on your website. more

So far I've purchased sample drapes and they look pretty good for a guest bedroom. I'm waiting for my order of custom draperies for my living room and dining room and I'm very excited to receive them. The delivery process was very swift and so far I'm very satisfied. They did take a little long to ship the swatches, but after receiving them I was able to find just the right fabric selection for my rooms. more

This was a great find. The drapes are gorgeous, the color absolutely true to the photo, and the quality excellent. Everyone I spoke with before buying was more than helpful and informed about the product. I love the drapes, everyone comments on how magnificent they look, and (perhaps most importantly)the price was terrific. I wish I had more windows to cover, and when I remodel again, I'll definitely return to Half Price Drapes. I have also recommended them to everyone I know. more

Halfpriceddrapes.com is fantastic. I have recommended it to so many of my friends. I needed drapes, selected the fabric etc but needed advice on the pleating, length and width. I did not know the right option. I called, discussed it with a sales rep, who completely knew her stuff, and I got my custom drapes, quickly, the fabric was really rich, the lining great and the fir perfect. But know that these do not look like panels from bed, bath and beyond, these look and feel like custom drapes in a Country Club for the price of lesser stores. Recommend 100% more

I haven't hung my new drapes yet but I have been exceptionally pleased with Half Price Drapes service. I have never had to buy drapes before I bought my first home and customer service was incredibly helpful in making the correct sizing purchase. The drapes look lovely in the box and the blue velvet material is excellant quality. So far five stars!!!! more
