Half Price Books Records Magazines

When I was young I didn't go to a lot of bookstores...but as I ventured out on my own, I came across Half Price Books. Whoa. To someone who likes to read but has little money, this place is a dream. Most books are current, so you don't have to rifle through musty books from the 70s (although they have the classics of course). I can generally find what I want if it's a popular book. Lots of self-help, literature, art, design, health, etc. My friend goes there for the cookbooks. They have software, VHS, and DVDs and CDs too. You can tell them what book you and when it comes in, they will give you a call. Plus, half price!! more

Me and my husband both likes to spent our time in this store. You can find very useful books here at a cheaper price. Sometimes you can also find some university books at a very cheaper price. They also have lots of childrens books. some of the racks are on clearance. You should always take a look over there,sometimes you can find very good books at a very good price. more

I really enjoy going to this store. It has a lot of books that you would not normally find in a bookstore. However, you can also still find the normal popular ones as well. The pricing of these books are also very good. Unlike what the name of the store says not all the books are half off some are actually more then half the price of normal stores. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for that rare or hard to find book. more

As part of the wonder that is Crossroads Mall of Bellevue, Half Price Books is at least a taste of the glory that is Powell's Bookstore, for people who moved from Portland. A little taste of every kind of book you can imagine, and everything is, as the store's name would imply, is at least half off. This store in particular seems to get a much wider variety of books than the Half-Price in Redmond, and it's staff is just as friendly and willing to help. A surprisingly big used DVD selection, and for the nerdier sect, a small selection of comics, and a pretty decent selection of table top gaming. They also have quite the selection of used and older title software, primarily a lot of games. Unfortunately, through no fault of Half Price Books, selling packaged software suites like Microsoft Office has recently stopped, due to Microsoft and other companies restricting transfer of licenses, making it a tricky legal mess for Half Price to sell it legitimately, therefor the last time I had talked to them about it, they had pretty much stopped. One of the best features of this Half-Price? It has a Starbucks coffee shop featuring Top Pot donuts right outside it's interior mall entrance. Buy your book, get some coffee, and enjoy your time there. more

I love this book store. The prices are great, not the , the service inside is just superb. If you have any questions on a book, the staff will know. Lets say that I know the story of a book, but can't remember the title, the staff will know it. I some times go in just to browes and the staff has never had a problem with that. more
