Great place, Great Doctors and a friendly knowledgable staff! I do not know who Fmo is but their experience is not the one we have had for the last 10 years. When hard times hit after the storm the were not chasing money (as we had none!) they were concerned about our kids and worked with us. As for knowing about medical conditions the have always been spot on and caring to boot. Dr Hales has always been approachable and spent time to explain things, the other Doctors on staff as well.\r \r I suppose if you get on the internet and ""educate"" yourself in an evening of ""research"" and then walk in with the attitude that you know more than the Doctor you may get a similar response to Fmo... more

I am one of those moms whose kids always have issues, whether it's the ear or the stomach bug. We love going to Dr. Oates. I don't know why the first person who rated her, FRNO, was not satisfied. I mean come on, Stanford. I wonder if FRNO graduated from Stanford. I know I didn't and that is why I appreciate the knowledgeable doctors at Hales Pediatrics! more

The doctors are very arrogant and as a result are poor listeners. This attitude comes from the top - Stephen Hales. Your child will not see a specific doctor, but will see whoever is available. Accordingly, you'd better be prepared to keep track of your child's condition so they are not lost in the money hustle. Be prepared to meet defensive and argumentative behavior when asking questions they can't answer. After all, what could you possibly know that they don't know? This place is typical at best. My children love to go to the doctor! You will not find more caring and competent doctors. I have seen them all and they are all just as wonderful as the next. I absolutely love the fact that the wait time is minimal and you are brought straight to the doctor?s office where the doctor is waiting there for you! The doctors administer shots, so there is no waiting for a nurse and then a doctor and then a nurse again. In addition, there is no being shifted from one place to the other and no waiting in an examining room for a doctor to show up! Parking is so convenient, since there is a high rise parking garage right next door. I have taken my children to several other pediatric practices (shifting them around during Katrina, etc.) and none of them compare to Hales Pediatrics! Pros: wonderful doctors and wonderful office staff! more
