Dr. Halden was my pediatrician from birth to 18. I never saw anyone else. I trust him so much that he is now my son's pediatrician. He knows kids and all about the ages and stages. He knows how to get his job done thoroughly and knowledgeably and how to talk to kids to try and keep them calm, but at the end of the day, kids don't like going to the doctor. His approach might seem a little forceful, but he would NEVER shake a child like in the post below! I went to school with his grandchildren and I am friendly with everyone that works in the office. Lisa is super nice and friendly and Dr. Halden's sister comes to the office every once in a while too. After Dr. Halden is all done examining his patients, he gives them a balloon and even plays with it with them. And he has stickers too. Dr. Halden runs a small, comfortable, and friendly office. He's good at what he does. If you don't like him then go to another doctor, but falsely accusing someone of something so horrid is a bad reflection on you, and has dire consequences!\r \r Oh, and you can also call Dr. Halden at home in the evenings and on weeknights and he will do whatever he can to help. I was just able to make an appointment and bring my son to his office after daycare at 6:00 on a Friday! It's nice knowing that you never have to wait very long for an appointment with him like you do for so many other doctors, if you even get to see them at all. He will come into his office on weekends and even call you back to check on your child. He really does care about his families and just wants to do what he can to make everyone feel better. more

Dr Halden put his hands on my friends daughter yesterday and shook her...she is only 3 years old!!! He's lucky he's not getting reported to the police! We will be reporting him to the State Medical Board! more

Dr Halden has been my pediatrician for roughly the past thirteen years. I have never had a issue with the kids NOT wanting to visit the doctor's office. My 16 year old son still chuckles at Haldens booger farm comment after checking his nose. Dr Halden's many years of experience has erased my fears from old wive's tales my mother keeps warning me about. He is an old fashioned doctor that doesn't mind receiving phones calls at home and schedules doctors appointments on Saturdays, even when he isn't scheduled to be in. When my 4 year old was born, Dr Halden strolled in with a suit, tie and his briefcase. At one point, he brought in a young doctor to replace him because he planned to retire. Needless to say, the young doctor is no longer there and Halden still is. Dr Halden loves what he does and it shows he cares. more

My 8 y/o son had been seeing Dr. Halden since he was 1 month old. He has always been very smart, kind, attentive, and truly loves the kids! I wouldn't dream of any other doctor with my son's life in his hands. My son didn't gain weight well as a baby, and with Dr. Halden's experience and care we got through it. I called her Wednesday after 5pm, not sure if they were still open. He answered the phone, and set up my appointment for the next day even though he was on the way out the door. We went in for our well check, and he's just as wonderful as he's always been. He makes the exam fun, listens to every word my son says, and makes it a good experience for the child. My son still looks forward to Dr. Halden blowing up a balloon for him at the end. The best part is that you can see on Dr. Halden's face that he has been looking forward to the smile he puts on my son's face. We love you Dr. Halden!! Thank you for the great care for so many years, you are a very special kind of doctor that is almost impossible to find! more

I found Dr Halden after having a really bad experience with another physician. I wanted someone who actually cared about their patients, especially, since they would be taking care of my children. I had a really good feeling about him as he answered the phone in his own office. That is just unheard of, I love his old-school style. The first time I brought my daughter in for am illness he let me do the paper work afterwards, wow. And, he called in the prescription to my pharmacy from a notepad that he pulled from his pocket. I think other up-coming physicians could take a lesson from his attentive beside manner and genuine love for his profession. more

Def! Best Doc Award. he is soo sweet and hands on. He explains everything and even gives the shots himself and calls the medicine in to the pharmacy right there with you.He isn't just flying in and out the room to get to the next patient, he takes his time when you are with him.And there is no long wait either. I would recommend to all! more

I drive all the way from Round Rock to take my son to see Dr. Halden. He is so sweet and very sharp! He has seen it all and knows what he is doing. My son has seen him since he was a week old and I would reccommend him to all parents. He is great!!! Pros: great staff and very little wait time Cons: pay for parking more

My brothers and I all grew up under Dr.Halden's care until we turned 18. He was a patient, caring, and true doctor. I'd recommend him to any parent. more

Am very lucky to meet Dr. Halden. At least I know that Dr. Halden always see his patients not like other doctors that you get to see nurses (no offense). You can always even call him home!! Old fashion Dr. and great experience to have him as my daughter's doctor. Thanks Dr. Halden..... Pros: He is always available. Cons: none that I think of...... more
