I really enjoy shopping at Halcyon, though I do always seem to leave with more than I intended! They have such a lovely and eclectic inventory! I found a frock coat and top hat for my Steam Punk fun, and a lovely locket with the hair of a dearly departed loved one that I gave to my partner who is graduating with a degree in funeral services. There were hats, capes, jewelry to die for, and I could have happily dropped a small fortune if I had one to drop! \r The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and greeted me by name on my second visit. This will always be my first stop for vintage clothes and accessories. more

We just stumbled upon this gem and boy I am happy! We walked in to the smell of my favorite incense, greeted by a warm smile, and ahhhhhhh the clothes, what can I say. Vintage clothing is my passion, I am a collector and of course, I love to wear it. My husband and my 2 daughters were in hog heaven. So many things to see and try on. I am not sure of the name of the terrific gal who was working there, but she not only shared my love for all things vintage and beautiful, but she cued into our taste very quickly and helped us to pick out some fabulous items. She was patient with our daughters and even to top it all off, took the time to write down addresses and phone numbers to 5 resturants for us. She was awesome! Went way above and beyond. Please, please shop this store you will not be sorry, Well maybe not too many of you 'cause then all the great stuff may be gone :). Halycon is not only in a great location, but as soon as you walk into the door it gives off an incredible vibe. You are greated by two beautiful dogs, Winston and Olive, who are almost as excited to see you as their owner (as well as the stores owne), Connie. The clothes are extroadinarly beautiful, not to mention in great condition, and very reasonably priced. The most intriguing however, was the assortment of beautiful jewelry which i was fortunate enough to find a couple of unique items to purchase. Once you step into the store it will be impossible to spend less than a half hour in there just browsing through everything, and it is almost certain you will purchase something. If nothing else, at least visit the store to experience a trip in time, and say hello to the owner. Her knowledge on everything vintage will astonish you. more

Yeah Connie!!! After 5 years of traveling the country and searching for costumes, we discovered that the best of the best is right in our back yard. We have worn Halcyon clothes in both our movies and at virtually every performance we do. The clothes are the best quality, completly accurate and just a fantastic selection. Connie is amoung the most knowledgeable and by far the most helpful store ownwers we have met, and Winston is a real treat too. If you miss Haclcyon you missed the best!!
