I was invited by a friend to try this salon out. I walked in and everyone was so cold towards me. They all had their noses up in the air. This heavy set blonde woman with curly hair, who will reamin unknown, was doing my hair. This woman would not stop talking, and she smelled like the worst b.o. ever. I was thinkin maybe I just got the wrong stylist. So she moved me to another chair where I could sit and my color could process and I noticed this handsome man in the front, he was also a stylist. He saw me staring and came back to see if I was ok, and I told him it was my first time here and that he'd owned the place. I told him that his stylist made me uncomfortable, and he proceded to tell me it was ok. Then he walked back up to the front where these younger girls, who I am assuming were stylists, began sitting on his lap!!!! Never in my life have I ever seen such unprofessionalism at a salon. So finally my girl comes to wash me out after sitting for about an hour. She soaked my shirt. Then she wanted to take me back to get my eyebrows waxed and the wax left a burn on my skin. I have this done all the time it has never happened before. We walked back to her chair, and I felt as if everyone was looking at me. When I got back to her chair, I could have cried, she was brushing my hair and it was falling out in her brush..I'm sorry everyone I can't go on with this story because it makes me FURIOUS!! I felt bald. Just know there are way more salons to check out in the metro-detroit area besides that one!!!!
Pros: They have coffee, and a nice receptionist.
Cons: unmotivated staff, smelly, rude.
