My daughter and I have been going to Talona for years. LOVE HER! My daughter has blonde hair, very straight, so very hard to cut correctly; Talona does it! I have color and cut, ALWAYS very happy. Best is that she is just a really nice person, does a great job, very consistent. more

A friends referred me years ago and when I lived in Bellevue and now I live 3.5 hours away and drive over the mountain to get my hair done by the best! Love her salon at her house, so we can have lunch and a drink while doing my hair...Well worth it!! more

My sons and I have been going to Talon for haircuts for over 10 years. When she opened her own salon we gladly moved our business because she always listened and did what was asked. My sons will not let anyone else cut their hair, so when we moved to 50+ miles away from she retained our business. We always make sure we book out next appts before we leave. She is that good. more

Talona is a whiz with color. She's got an amazing ability to get the color just right and does it so fast. She makes you feel welcome and is always upbeat and fun to talk with. Been going to her for 5 years from Seattle and she's well worth the drive. more

Talona Denny at Hair Necessities always gives me a great haircut. She is very good at asking what type of haircut I want and strives to make it perfest for me every time. She's done several different hairstyles for me and I always get compliments on my haircuts. I highly recommend her. more

I can't remember the womens name that runs this salon out of her basement, but i saw her on one ocassion. She did a very good cut and color. There's a no rush relaxed atmosphere. The negative is that you must book your appointments weeks in advance.Very rigid scheduling. If you need a stylist that can be somewhat flexible for short notice appointments like special occasions, this is not a good salon for that. more

My friend turned me onto Talona and I had no idea what to expect. Her basement has been fully remodeled to look and act like a full salon: helmet dryer, hair washing basin, good lighting, hip magazines, top notch products to buy, the works! Talona herself was the best stylist and colorist I've ever gone to; and living in Los Angeles my whole life, I've gone to several! She paid attention to the way I normally wear my hair and didn't blow it dry it a way I never would. She looked at the shape of my face, the color of my eyes, and the natural highlights in my hair. I can't stop going on about Talona's work. I'll be going to her every 7 weeks and my husband is going to start going to her too. And her prices were more than reasonable. What a find! more

Hair Necessities is a new salon along I-90 in Issaquah. It’s in the stylist’s home. If you don’t mind coming in the front door and heading downstairs to her professional-looking salon, Talona is worth the trip. Great cuts and color, and good prices. It’s a full salon in the home—complete with shampoo bowl and professional chair/mirror. more
