If getting into the car to drive from my upper eastside home for a haircut in flushing (for eight years) instead of a subway ride to Chinatown doesn't speak to how much I appreciate Hair Manna, I don't know what else could.\r Manna is one of those no frill place that you get a great haircut with the efficiency you wouldn't get anywhere else. One could also comment that Manna is a no frill lady, but over the years, you would almost have to love her persona, her hearty laugh and her broad smile to her customers. If you are looking for a social place to linger and chat for two hours, this may not be your cup of tea, but if you are hoping a great hairdo will enhance your look and greater sense of happiness, Manna does it right! Manna is the absolutely the best! She's such a sweetheart and so talented. She does the most amazing up-dos everytime, which are great for parties. She even does make-up and eye-brow tweezing, which I love. I always get my eyebrows done when I go. She always makes me look so good and I always get compliments! Just recently I went there for a perm and I loved it! It was exactly how I wanted it. And she always reccommends me products and tips to care for my hair. You should definitely get their products. They really help! I highly recommend this place to get your hair done. All of her stylist are really good. Their service is great and their price is great too. Plus she even gives you a free hair treament when you go. The hair treatment conditions your hair and makes it feel so soft and good! Definitely the best salon in town! It's a nice hair salon, they know what they're doing and they cut my hair pretty well. Manna herself is there every day, she knows what she's doing, and she knows how to make you look good, the problem is that her prices aren't the greatest. A dye job and cut is 35 and up. But other stuff gets steep. They always push their products, which I don't like. She gives out cards to get a free hair treatment to get you to come back. Her kids are there which is cute. But she's mean to her staff which is a turn off. I wonder why some of them stay. Some of them do really good work. \r But overall if you want a cut then yeah you can go there. They won't screw up your hair. Manna does a great job, and so does the guy with the ponytail who's name i 4get. For the guys, the guy with the hat gives great cuts for guys and is always in demand.
