I have friends who are hair stylist but was looking for someone close. I was impressed by her reviews and went in. I was even more impressed by her. Michele is amazing. She was helpful in making suggestions and explained what she was doing. I loved it. Even better was that my hair looked fantastic. My husband who normally does not even notice loved it and would not stop complimenting me. The other bonus is that she is so affordable. I've paid much more and have not been this happy. more

I was looking for a new hair stylist because my moved out to too far away location. I picked up Michele because she had great on-line reviews and decided to try. I am really happy to find her. My hair looks good, she is very nice person that listen what you want and add her artistic touches to your vision. Definitely will come again. A+ more

I decided to go to Michele because she has such great reviews! .....But man did she live up to all the good press! It is hard to find a hair stylist in LA that takes real pride in their work. A lot of them just smack hair color on you and will have multiple clients going at once. Not This Woman! Michele looks at you like a blank canvas ready to paint and shape your hair into the best looking you. And she is willing to take the time to make it happen. Literally painting the color on to my hair to make it look really natural. This is the most meticulous color job I have ever had in my life! Beautiful color and to put icing on my perfect color ...she is a master at hair cuts TOO! She gave me a wispy romantic cut with awesome layers and sexy little bangs! I went out drinking with a friend right after I got my hair done because I felt like I HAD to go out with my hair so perfectly coifed. I've gotten a ton of complements from everyone I've seen ... and it has only been 2 days. A far cry from the last year... where I haven't had a single complement on my hair. Last year I went to get my hair done only twice, because I never really liked the result and as I have long hair I just wore it in a ponytail. But now it was time again to get my hair fixed, it became so dry and just didn't look good anymore. So I found Michele's number online with so many good reviews that I just gave it a shot and got an appointment for a cut, deep conditioning and blow dry. Yesterday was the day and I was very excited to finally meet her and I have to say she is such a cute and lovely person! But that's not all: I LOVE MY HAIR and am the happiest person on earth! She took the time to find out what I was expecting and what I like and I just knew that she understood what I mean. Then she actually started cutting and she was so thorough and exact and did not rush anything and already after fixing my bangs I was so happy. Then I got the deep conditioning treatment and after that she blow dried my hair and it just looks fantastic. It looks so full and silky and the cut she gave me is just unbelievable. And the price was so good; I expected to pay double of what I actually paid because of the time she spend with me and this unbelievable result. Never again I will have to try out any other hair stylist because she is it. Thank you, Michele, you did an awesome job! more

I have been to some of the most expensive, exclusive hair salons in Miami, but after moving to LA in December,I just plain lucked out in finding Michele. She has the eye, experience, and talent for blond highlights like no one I have ever met. She is the very best at a reasonable price. I have dark hair and I have had so many disasters that I can not even remember them all. But, the moment I met Michele, I was comfortable and I just felt like I was safe in her expert hands. After searching citysearch I decided to try Michele since the salon was conveniently located and the reviews I read were favorable. I needed a good cut, color and style because it had been so long since I had done ANYTHING. Michele did an excellent job of listening to what I wanted and making suggestions that were professional and thoughtful. She took her time and her work was on par with top salons/stylists I have been to over the years. She has a refreshing lack of attitude and a pleasant, funny personality. I thought her prices were reasonable...with the cut, color, highlights along with washing my hair and a blowout, the cost was less than what some stylists charge for color alone. In reading Michelle's reviews, I got the feeling that her clients respected and demanded talent, but didn't like the pretentiousness or outrageous pricing that unfortunately can come as a ""package deal"" with some purported high-end salons. So at the risk of having Michele stolen from us by some famous model or actress, here goes nothin'!! 1. The Salon... Hair in L.A. seems at first glance very unassuming: it's in a strip mall in Tarzana, nothing's made of granite, marble or onyx, no Aeron chairs at the reception but it's impeccably clean, very friendly, comfortable, and here's the low key genius of the place: The wall facing the parking lot is WINDOWS, which means you view your color results in NATURAL LIGHT. Michele gets to see how the light ""plays"" off of your particular hair which yielded the most beautiful and natural tones and placement for the highlights she added for me. 2. Michele...Do you remember that friend you had when you were in High School? The one who was REALLY REALLY good at doing hair? Now pretend she grew up to be an expert stylist, able to interpret your tastes and choices masterfully, utilizing her talent and her obviously frequently updated skill-set. Michele has an uncanny knack for following the lines of your facial structure, translating your favorite styles to work with your hair type, and adding color to suit your skin/hair tones, AND your personal style. In addition, she's an excellent communicator, making sure you both agree and understand about how much length to cut, what the final product should look like, and how you like to style your hair. I recently moved to Woodland Hills and was in need of a serious touch up to my hair before my best friends wedding. Of course waiting till the last minute Michele was flexible and really worked with my schedule. Not only did she do that but she did an amazing job on my hair! I came to see Michele after a hair cutting place, who's cuts weren't so super, botched a hair coloring job and left me with black hair. Michele fit me in right away and spent hours removing the bad color, re-coloring and cutting my hair. She made my hair into a masterpiece! My friends and family say I look years younger! I'm so Thankful to have found Michele here on Citysearch!! I was looking to find a stylist who was able to perform a multitude of tasks on my hair. I used to have to go to 3 different stylists. One for color, one for extensions, and one for haircut/blowdry. I really needed to find a stylist who could do all 3.... to make my life easier! And I am happy to report that Michele did an A+ job accross the board. She has been doing my hair now for a few months, and in that time my hair is in better condition than ever. I got highlights and lolights plus a cut from Michele -- the results are fantastic. She's a talented hair artist, and talent does make a difference! She was meticulous about the weave, cut, and everything. Just 100% great, outstanding exceptional results. Plus, she listens and takes time to discuss things and sincerely cares that the look comes out great. Some stylists want to get customers in and out, their minds are only on money -- sadly the results show it, with either okay or so-so hair, and sometimes disappointing results. I had been to a few of those, who didn't really care, and my hair showed it. Michele's results are **Beverly Hills/studio quality** and affordable, fair prices. She really knows what's she's doing. My sister and I went here to get our hair done; she wanted hers done for prom, me- just for kicks. Michele was extremely friendly and made sure that she did her best to get my sister out on time with great hair even though there was a scheduling conflict and a time restraint. My sister had her hair dyed dark with streaks of color to match her dress. It looked tasteful, fun, and beautiful! I had my hair done with red highlights that Michele helped me pick out (since I couldn't really decide). She picked a fantastic color that I'm in love with- and I normally don't like lighter hair. She stayed late to finish my hair to make sure that it looked good and it does! I can honestly say that she knew exactly what I wanted even though I couldn't really express it very well and she gave me pretty much the best haircut/ color that I've ever had. Michele takes time to discuess what you what your hair to look like and does above and beyond your expectations. Her prices are very good and with todays Economy this is so important. I have never been happier with my color and cut. It looks great curly or straight and falls perfect everytime. I highly recommend this professional hair artist 100%. Just went to Michele on a reccomendation from a friend of mine who has been going to her for some time now. And I have to say that I was very satisfied with the Hair Extensions she gave me!!
