Hair Club

Hair Club IB has to be the best at hair straightening in the world and i do not have a doubt about it! I had the Korean keratin treatment done in the past week and i absolutely love my hair. The staff knew what they were doing and consistently informed be what was going on. As a result, my hair is straight, smooth, and completely frizz free. I am in love! Thank you so much and i will definately be back! more

First called to inquire about the different types of hair treatments that they offer. I was thoroughly informed of the different treatments and their prices and what the end result will be like for my type of hair. I felt bad to have kept her on the phone for so long but she was super nice and understanding throughout the entire phone conversation! When I found the salon (which was not hard at all- right next to a Chase bank!), I was warmly greeted by the front desk receptionist (who was really pretty by the way) and she walked me to a table and gave me another evaluation of my hair to help me decide what would be best for my hair... We settled on a mixture of both the japanese hair straightening and the brazilian kerating treatment and the result was breathtaking. I absolutely love it and with the service and price that they offer, I can't imagine going to another overpriced/overrated salon to get it done! I actually don't even know if other salons offer this particular treatment... But all in all, I absolutely loved the whole experience and I most definitely will be going back for a touch up in a couple of months! more

In all honesty, if I can give this salon more than 5 stars I would! I have very kinky, frizzy, extremely curly hair- I didn't think that anything would work to make my hair straight or to tame the frizz; until I came to this salon. The salonists first welcomed me with a sincere greeting and a big smile guiding me through which process would be best for my hair type and what would fulfill my expectations. I went with the Japanese hair straightening. I am so thrilled to say that my hair now is, what they refer to as, ""pin straight"". I literally come out the shower, brush my hair and out the door I go! It really does remain permanently straight! I would recommend this salon to everyone and anyone! more

So i went to hair club ib a few weeks ago to get japanese hair straightening for the 3rd time. I previously went to some small salon in flushing, but was introduced to hair club ib recently. When i got my hair done at the other small place in flushing, it was never perfectly straight. After i got my hair done at hair club ib and washed it after2 days, i was ecstatic!! it was extremely straight, shiny, and soft. I have to say, this is the best japanese hair straightening i have ever got. All the staff was extremely nice and caring as well. more

I found ib on google for straightening it was the first place that came up and had lots of good reviews and went to get the japanese hair straightening. It was my 2nd time getting the straightening done first time i went to other place that was on roosevelt when i went there i had to dry my own hair and they give you some number for your turn. At ib it was totally different experience! more

I went to hair club IB with my daughter but they were too busy so we had to go some small salon(K Y Lee) on 160st and Northern Blvd. I went there to get Japanese Hair Straightening and it was perfectly fine till i got home. when i washed my hair after two days.. my daughters hair and my hair was breaking out. we were so mad that we went back to hair club IB to fix it. of course they fixed for us. thank god. but wth.. i paid more than $150 in that small salon on 160st . i only pay $150 to get my hair done in hair club IB.I had to come drive back to flushing for an hour (too much gas fee..) and my hair got shorter cause that small stupid salon who ruined our hair. I would never go anywhere but hair club IB. thanks to hair club IB for fixing my hair :) and there the best at japanese and brazilian! more

Pretty long story to tell but my first salon (dont want to name it ) in Flushing NY, where i got my Brazilian keratin treatment for 250... done my hair twice there but i thought it was just too much money to pay. so i kinda searched on google map and there was better place called Hair Club IB! I read all the review and i wanted to give it a try. I called to made an appointment and drove 2 hours to Flushing. When i went to hair Club IB i was so supprised why i didnt bother to look at this place when ever i pass to get to the first salon. Hair Club IB was very clean and pretty big. They have privite parking space in the basement, which i didnt had to pay for anything. All the stylist and the workers were very kind and friendly. more shocking thing was the price... it was $180. The Brazilian Keratin Treatment was $180!!!! saved my gas money and my lunch money. I didnt had to read a book or anything because i was busy chatting with the worker who straightened my hair. she was so nice and funny. i had fun talking to her. when i saw my result i totally loved it... it was amazing. they got my roots all straightened and teached my how to take care of my hair. they knew all about my hair type. no wonder the appointment book was booked... im so thankful that i found Hair Club IB. All my friends wants to go to Hair Club IB because they saw my beautiful hair and fell in love with it. now i cant stop playin with my hair. Everyone should go to Hair Club IB. Next time i might try the japanese hair straightening. ;) more

Last week i went to get japanese hair straightening and it was perfect. i been looking for hair salon for couple days. half year ago i got my japanese hair straightening in Washington DC cause i live around there and it was so bad... they couldnt get my roots straight... i had to pay more than $400 and there service sucked. so i decide to look up on the internet to find some place in nyc. The day before my friends wedding i went to Hair club IB to ask them how much would the japanese hair straightening, they said it was $150!! first, i got scared if my hair might get messed up before the wedding.. but wth my boy friend convinced me to try it. After 3hours i looked like a princess.NO JOKE! all my roots were perfectly straight and my hair was so soft.. thanks to my boy friend and hair club IB. lols and at the wedding my hair looked amazing than the bride. lols everyone asked me where i got my hair done. and my friends were touching my hair cause it feels like silk. i def recommend hair club IB. next time if i get to nyc my first stop will be hairclub IB more

well i would say i had mixed feelings on getting the straightening done again. I had it done for a few times, and it always came out straight and smooth, but i was tired of keep on just having it too straight. so i came to Hair Club I.B. which i've been going to for a few years now, and they suggested to get the BKT, so it won't be as flat, so i did as they did, and got the new BKT that they suggested b/c they said it won't be as flat as the JHS so i got it done, i DIDN""T have to wait like the other BKT to wash it out after a few days the NEW bkt they washed it out after they strighten it so i could see the results and go home & i came out SO nice my hair was frizz free stright but not pin stright it had nice volume to it and all i had to do was blow dry it top to bottom and when i wanted a little bit of waves i would just air dry it i love the new bkt, so anyone who doesnt want chemical on their hair but want it to be stright shiny frizz free you should try it :)!! I am definately happy with the hair that i walked out of at Hair Club I.B. My hair was very damaged from relaxing it for many years! But after my trip to get the Brazilian Keratin Treatment, my hair is never like before. my hair was so poofy from the relaxer and my hair usually has very thick curls, but now it's so much easier for me to manage my hair. Pros: silky, soft, managable, frizz-free hair! Cons: NONE! more

Seriously my life has changed! I used to wake up every morning and spend hours on my hair trying to brush it out and straighten it but now i just wash and i dont even have to dry. my first time getting the japanese thermal reconditioning and now my hair is so easy to mange. never knew there would be a day for me like this. but thanks to ib hair club it has been the most wonderful experience and definately cant wait to show it off!! was introduced by friends about the keratin treatment. gave it a try and i have brand new hair. silky, soft, straight. i never knew the keratin could get your hair so straight. and i did not wait 3 days like everybody else they washed it out for me right after they were done and it is the best. they said noone else in US has this but even if they did i wouldn't go anywhere else always go back here! the best i've ever had, it's already been almost 3 months its the same as the first day. and i'm still amazed. i really would like to recommend and thank Hair Club for their work!
