Jesse Daniel Salon- LOVE IT! 6/6/2011

For my entire life, I had always got my hair done by my aunt, however when I moved to California I had a hard time finding a salon whose style and stylists I liked. I had several horrid events such as the stylist taking smoke breaks during my hair and forgetting about it causing my hair to be colored unevenly. I started going to a cute little salon in downtown Fullerton, however when my best friend advised me to try out Jesse Daniel, I finally found my home salon in CA! Tami has been doing my hair for over a year and a half now and I 100% satisfied with it always. She uses great product that leaves my hair feeling wonderful for days. She is timely, friendly, and always does my hair just right! Further, I am always offered a glass of wine to get me warmed up during my visit. Jesse Daniel is a cute and classy salon that offers exceptionally great prices compared to competitors. <3 more

Great Customer Service!! 5/23/2011

I went to the Jesse Daniel Salon for the first time last week. I have very thin hair and it is very difficult to style. I had chemotherapy 3 years ago and my hair has been a problem since then. Tami colored and cut my hair. It came out wonderful! It looks the best it has in years! Tami was very understanding and so nice to me. I am going back next week for extensions. more

Great salon!! 4/7/2011

I really needed a color change and a new cut, and Tami took great care of me. She made me feel right at home as soon as we met. She was very warm, personable and friendly. I loved the "consultation!" I have never been asked questions about my hair like that before. It makes perfect sense if a stylist really wants to meet his/her clients' needs!! It was great! I really liked how Tami offered suggestions after listening to me as well. I also appreciate how she took charge and just did her thing!! I love how everything turned out and I'm looking forward to my next appointment. She even explained how to best style my hair as well as some suggestions on different products. Tami knows hair!! Give her a try!! You'll love her!! more

Great with fine, thin hair! 10/13/2010

I have fine, thin hair and Tami is an EXPERT at cutting and styling it perfectly because she also has fine, thin hair. She is very talented and made my hair look thicker and fuller. She discussed what I wanted and needed, BEFORE she began the cut and didn't cut more off than I wanted, which as we all know, happens too often. Very sweet and easy to talk to. (The receptionist is so friendly, offered refreshments and made me feel welcome right away.) I was all smiles when I saw the results and I was shown exactly how to quickly and easily duplicate her results. Lovely yet casual, full service salon. My search for the ideal stylist is now over. =) more

Tami is the best colorist and haircutter I have ever had. I am 60 years old and have lived my entire life in OC. I have tried several other salons. Although Tami is not cheap, I have paid as much or more elsewhere and not gotten as good results. I do not want to look like a little old lady. The hair color chosen by Tami looks very natural and flatters my complexion. I have fine hair that is difficult to work with - Tami gives me a cut that is contemporary, suits my style, and is easy to maintain. Tami has great instincts about what will look good, but she also listens to customer input. I have recommended her to a family member who is also thrilled with the result. In addition, I like the fact that even though the service is the highest quality, the atmosphere is casual and friendly. Tami gets my highest rating. TAMI IS AWESOME! 6/13/2010

I started seeing Tami for haircuts in January of this year. I have naturally curly hair and have a lot of difficulty finding stylists that know how to work with my hair to give it body and style. Tami did an assessment with me and immediately knew where my last stylist had gone wrong. Over the last 6 months she has cut it in a way that has made it have more substance and shape. Stylist and Owner Tami is very friendly and very well informed on so much and she has no problem teaching you how to do cool things on your own. This has never been provided to me at any other salon, especially on my first visit! Please go to this salon if you are new to the area and need a great look- she will deliver. Best Salon, Best Hair! 1/27/2010

I started to go to Tami after a friends hair looked awesome! I moved away a couple years later and always said...no one ever does my hair like Tami did! I recently moved back to San Diego. Not only do I drive an hour to see her, I love going to the salon! I have received more compliments on my hair since I have been back to Tami. The staff in her salon are amazing, and the salon is beautiful. Please go see Tami, she loves her job and is passionate about her work! Love her! GREAT HAIR COLOR BY TAMI! 1/21/2010

I was looking for a stylist who uses Framesi Haircolor. Upon my internet search I located Tami. She took time to listen to my concerns; then proceeded to formulate a haircolor for me that has been awesome. She enhanced my haircolor by adding highlights in the following months. I am very pleased with the results. My color doesn't fade and my haircut has been awesome! It is easier to style now and I have received numerous compliments on my new color and cut! It is always a pleasure to go to the Jesse Daniel Salon for a pampered visit to relax and walk out feeling great! Tami and her staff are very warm and make you feel totally welcome! Not So Hot! 1/19/2010

I read great reviews about this salon but after I went there for my cut and color I was less than impressed. The cut was alright, amaturish at best. I was extremely disappointed when it came to the color. The color ended up an orangey yellow color with extremely large brown streaks. I get that it's hard to take brunettes to blonde but I have never had it look this poorly. When I was asked if I liked it I said no and that it was too orange but Tami insisted it was beautiful even though it was far from it and would not fix it. Even one of the stylists at the salon agreed with me and yet Tami still refused to fix it. She even left part way through to pick up her kid...hmmmm...I will NEVER be going back there. Especially when the customer is supposed to be right. I have never been told no when I ask my hair to be fixed. Never thought I would have to pay to have someone viciously slaughter my hair! NEVER AGAIN!!! Pros: Ok cut Cons: Worst color ever more

Awesome color by Tami 9/7/2009

I've been going to Tami since we both lived in San Diego. I moved away a few years ago and really missed the work she did with my hair. When I heard she opend her own salon I had to make a visit. She took her time with me and fixed my color. Tami truely has a passion for her work. She is honest and always up to date with the current styles. I will always try to make it back to see her whenever I make a trip down south. It was worth the 4 hr drive! more

Very Happy - Great Cut & Color 4/2/2009

I've been going to Tami for almost four years now. My first appointment she described my look as "Marcia Brady". Since then - she's done wonders and I now can say my hair is one of my best features. We've gone short, gone long, red highlights to almost OC blond - its all looked good. Now if I could only find a personal trainer as great - I'd be set... more

Tami is super talented and is really professional. I found Tami through online searches when I moved to Orange County and needed a new hair stylist who was well-versed in Framesi (such a great, high-end line of colors!) I took a chance with Tami due to her excellent reviews and she definitely met my expectations. She really listened to my needs and suggested a slight color change to make my color more natural looking and more complimentary to my skin tone-- after she was done with my hair I got TONS of compliments on the new cut and color. Tami is so fun to talk to, and she is talented and professional. I definitely think her cuts and colors are worth the money and I will keep going back for sure!! Pros: Great Color, Great Cuts! I was very impressed with Tami's skill, personality, and professionalism. I have been going to Newport Beach to have my Extensions done, and was being charged hundreds more than what Tami charged me! I found my new stylist! 11/20/2008

I had a fantastic experience at Hair by Tami! Not only did Tami pay extra attention to my concerns and desires, I felt like she really listed and I got a great hair cut! On top of that, I was in an out within an hour. Tami is hip and easy to talk to and it made for a very enjoyable experience. Ok I was very sceptical to the reviews on here, as Im sure most are. But after more research, I found Tami to be highly recommended on other sites such as yelp and yahoo.. So I took the chance and so happy that I did. I had my cut and color done with her, and am very happy with the colors she chose. I am most excited now for my next appointment for hair extensions!!! Excellent Stylist... 8/26/2008

I was very happy with Tami. I had some highlites and a haircut, as I always have from my old stylist. However, Tami did them on a softer tone, and she toned the rest of my hair. It looks alot more natural. She explained that being a blonde comes in many shades, and mine needs to be a darker blonde to compliment my skin...WOW! THANKS TAMI! more
