The desk is not consistent they change the rules depending on who you get as the peron who checks you out. I even had to ripe up a check.

A salon for everyone 2/8/2012

If you want a Salon that does it all ,and is for everyone ; The Hip, Grandma, Bobbie's first haircut ,Dad, The Macho Man, This is the place. Not only do they have your hair covered ,their Spa is like walking into another dimension ,One where time stands still, and peace resides. And with all this the staff is like family.Caring,thoughtfull 'attentive, professional. You have to try it for yourself and see if I am right . more

Color and cut 2/4/2012

Jocelyn does an excellent job with my color. I get compliments all the time that the shade is perfect. My cut this time was a little different than what I've had in the past and I love it. She is awesome! more

Refreshed and Renewed! 2/2/2012

Ruthie's incredible eye and scissor-work for color and cut put me back together after an extended illness. Not to mention that we always have a terrific time together because she's so absolutely delightful. And then there's Melissa, a perfect sweetheart, who does a great shampoo, and even hooked me up with a great piece of jewelry as I checked out. The only way I could fathom a better salon experience is to have been there on Friday so I could enjoy Jackie, too, but I just couldn't wait another day! more

Best salon & spa in the Philly burbs! 1/29/2012

I've been to a LOT of spas, including a couple at world-class resorts, but Hair Apropos is still my favorite! The owners are wonderful & gracious people, and the staff are tremendous. Over the years, I've had a chance to try out most all of their salon & spa services, and I've ALWAYS been impressed! more

Back, Neck & Head Massage 1/27/2012

Received a massage on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 with Joel. I was a little hesitant since I normally get a massage by another woman. Joel was very professional and I must say it was a wonderful massage. I felt totally relaxed & I noticed an immediate change to my muscles in the areas that were massaged. I would go back and have Joel as my massage person again. Great experience at the salon! more

In a word, awesome! Ruthie is a true professional and absolutely knows her business. After one visit I am a fan for life. I've tried countless other places in the area, and always came away vaguely dissatisfied... Not this time! -- She tamed my head full of cowlicks and gave me a 'do that I can style myself in the morning. more

chakra massage 1/21/2012

If you ever do anything in your life for youself you need a chakra balancing massage with joel. It was the most amazing massage I've ever received. It really does balance you and shift your spirit/energy in such a positive way. Truely must say its one of the most amazing expierences I've ever felt in my life. I also appreciate how professional he is and how comfortable he makes you feel. Highly recomend this service. I also get my hair done by jocelyn and melissa who have been able to give me color I've always wanted and never been able to achieve anywhere else and I am so greatful. Elaine and jenna both also do my nails and they are so personable and always make you feel better when you leave their stations. I couldn't be happier that my friend brought me in. I love apropos! more

Amazing Facial! 1/19/2012

Booked the Balinese facial with Jenna. It was extremely relaxing, and she was very thoughtful to explain what products to used at home. I loved the massage and the scent of the products were delightful. I will be back soon! Thank you! more

Jocelyn is AWESOME!!! 1/14/2012

I've spent years trying to find "that special someone" to do my hair, and I've finally found her--Jocelyn Thomas is the best! A lot of stylists can cut hair, but Jocelyn gets to know her clients and gives them a cut that will work for THEM. I don't like to fuss with my hair--no time for that--but my husband likes it long. Jocelyn always takes this into consideration, giving me a cut that will make him happy but be easy for me to care for. I highly recommend her. more
