Sadly enough, I didn't listen to the online reviews of what others had to say on Citysearch- to my detriment. I came into have my acne treated and have a questionable mole looked at. Dr;.Lori brought in a resident to our consult, and proceeded to address her the whole time instead of me, seeming to want to show off her with her infinite expertise and vast knowledge off all things ""skin"". It all felt extremely rushed, and I was told to discuss my questions on facial products with her assistant when she left (who barely read the ingredients). She pushed her products and refused to recommend others. When I relayed my previous success with alternative options I used successfully in a city before I moved here, Dr Lori completely decimated me and made me feel stupid, saying no amount of alternative herbal medications could work. Then, she forgot to check my mole and kept me waiting for an hour and a half. When Dr. Lori returned, she refused to do an all-over body scan, saying I need to book a separate appointment- she checked the mole and declared it needed to be removed and left me in the care of her nurse/asst. I was told by her nurse, a 3rd appt was required to remove the mole. Possibly even a 4th appt if there were an additional moles, as only 1-2 can be removed at a time apparently. In short, she is very keen on charging the insurance companies and charging me my $55 copay for each visit and taking the insurance co's for all they are worth. I had relayed to her that I could not afford multiple visits, but they refused to combine services. Fighting back tears, I booked an appt elsewhere, where they kindly and fairly treated me, answered all my questions without judgement, and didn't make me feel horrible. But hey, if I had custom embroidered polos uniforms, an expensive interior decorator to pay, and had to employ a massive staff so I could only work 3 days a week, I'd also take my clients for all they were worth....
