Good Burgers 4/27/2006

This place is known for their burgers and I know is a special place for alot of folks. If you like the burgers from Moody's in Chicago you will like these huge burgers as well. There is other options on the menu of course. This place has a certain old world charm and has alot of personality as well. Very popular with locals is a given. more

The site of my first high school date - and still great 4/15/2006

That was in 1971. Even then, it had a great reputation for the hamburgers on black bread, onion rings (which literally come in a half-brick or brick) and german chocolate cake. 35 years later, they're still putting out great food at a fair price. I've since learned that their Reubens are quite good as well. This is a nice choice for casual dining. more
