ok so heres the quick run down: Prices: Has really good prices on most items. I buy pretty much everything here. (i think buying plants there could be a bit pricier than other places) (4/5) Service: It really depends. Ive had some really good service and bad service there. (3-4/5) Selection: They have a decent selection of fish. More freshwater than saltwater though. They also tell you when the fish you get aren't compatible. Oh and they have a good selection of chemicals and filters and stuff.(sidenote: when buying the fish make sure you tell them the temperament your fish have: community, semi-aggressive, ect.) They also have other animals there like birds, bunnies, and other randomness^^. (4/5) All in all i would definitely recommend this place. The service might not be the best but they have good prices on their stuff. I didn't really have a problem exchanging a fish the one time that i had to so you shouldn't have a problem there either. more

I have been going to Hacienda Aquatics since I was a young boy living in LP. Years later living in the Hi Desert I still travel to LP for the great deals @ Hacienda Aq. \r \r I have never experienced any bad nor negative attitudes on any trip. They are always going the extra mile to make sure I understand the needs for the fish I choosen, diet, compatibility, size etc. \r \r When ever I walk into the shop I am always greeted by first name with a smile. If ever I was looking for something specific (rare,certain size or an out of season fish) they would always come thru in a timely manner.\r \r Thanks to Pam, Chi & his wife and the rest of the crew for always taking care of my fish needs! Pros: Best prices & selection. Cons: Fish sell fast, have tyo get there @ right time. more

I used to like this store before I know of the owner and her partners. The old men were as grumpy as they look and one did raise his voice on me for asking if he had a certain fish there. His english was bad and he made it like my fault. I was patient and explained to him, but still, it was very rude!! He said, "" You look for fish what?!!!"" \r The owner was even worst. She doesn't care if your fish fights to death, once you buy, you can not have it like petsmart and exchange no matter what happens even if it's the same day or next day... It's happened to me, that's how I found out what love and care they have for animals. They show no care..\r They think they are too good in that area and don't care about new businesses. The store is cool, but I hate that place the most of all fish stores because of the rude and mean ppl that run the place. 1.Shopping there - owned by Asians who are nice. They act a lttle different being Asians, but they are nice.\r 2.Prices - very good - if price is important - Go Here, You will be happy you did. I went to PetCo and prices were much higher, so so friendly - so I say, Go to Hacienda Aquatics.\r 3.Service - they are really helpful to you and give advice if you ask.\r 4.Location - good, easy to find on Hacienda Blvd. in one of those little shopping centers.\r MY ADVICE - GIVE THEM A TRY.
