Bad experience 2/5/2007

I had a very unpleasant experience with Anna. I consulted with her for a hair cut and she disdainfully fingered my hair. ..she wasn't sure if she would be able to help! She also stated that "her" haircuts were $50.00 and implied that perhaps I couldn't afford it...a very unprofessional woman! I find this Salon's assertion that the client's comfort comes first laughable. I left there pretty uncomfortable! more

It is possible to get a good yet cheap haircut! 12/16/2005

I just got my hair cut by Courtney who is a "new talent" at Habitude Fremont. She's been there for about 9 months now though and she has had plenty of experience leading up to that. I got a great (short, layered) cut with plenty of attention to detail and still got all the perks of getting a cut at a fancy place like Habitude (Aveda products, scalp massage, etc.) for a great price! The cut was only $27! Not bad! I'm definitely going back. Unfortunately, I don't want to get too attached, because I'm sure her price will soon go up as she progresses up the ranks. more

Ok haircuts, but I keep going back 9/27/2005

Not sure why I keep going back to Habitude...maybe hoping that I'll get a good haircut one of these days. Habitude actually has a great atmosphere and occupies a good location, but I've found the quality of hairdressers to be a little uneven so maybe if you get a bad haircut one time you'll get a better one the next. They use Aveda and Bumble products. more

Really Fancy Service on a Budget 9/23/2005

I have had my hair cut and highlighted twice at the Fremont Habitude, and each time received really high quality service. Both times were with their New Talent, so the price was not expensive at all. The atmosphere is really cool, and the staff are all friendly. I signed up for their email and have received coupons that I will actually use. My last stylist suggested highlights in a color that I would never have thought of, so I went back and got them, and it was such a good idea. She also suggested products, and told me what was on sale, and I'm really happy with the products I bought. more

Aveda Haircuts 8/18/2005

Habitude in Fremont is not a full day spa, but it does offer great hair cuts and coloring. If you are looking for a high-end salon Habitude Fremont will do the trick. The stylists are friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. Parking can be a bit of challenge – show up early. more

Go to Ross for a style! 3/9/2005

I've been to Habitude four or five times, and while it is pricey, I have always had great service. I've been to three different stylists, and I highly recommend booking an appointment with Ross. He has 25 years styling experience, and it definitely shows! The atmosphere is great and relaxing, they don't usually push you to buy products either, although I have had one stylist do that. I've also had a wax there and the technician was very knowlegdable and made the experience comfortable. Definitely well worth the price! more
