This place is a joke. I had heard about it and asked some friends about it. They all told me the same thing: DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! Well, I went and checked it out anyway, and they were so RIGHT! I looked around at different things... doors, insulation, etc. The (new) doors were priced as much as Hom Depo, and in some cases were more! They had used rotted out exterior doors and other exterior doors so badly damaged that there is no way in heck they could be repaired; and they wanted $50 and up. Are you kiddin?!?!?! They had Owens insulation, and really made it sound like a super bargain. I went by HD and wow, they were a WHOLE dollar cheaper per roll. Seriously???? I looked at their paint.... it was some off brand I have never even heard of. Sure, it was cheap, but um, you get what you pay for. Most likely would peel in a few months. On top of that, it was covered in dust and looked pretty old. Even if it were a name brand, I would have to wonder if it was still any good. \r \r Bottom lin more

I certainly can't speak for others but every time I've visited Renovation Station I found cheap prices and quality merchandise. You have to poke around a bit but bargains are down every aisle. My son works at Lowe's and I can still beat their prices at HFH, even with his employee discount. Pella flooring at .89 square foot is pretty good, eh? Tile is even cheaper. You just have to dig a little. Also, on my visits, there was a steady flow of customers and a line at the checkout so those dollars are helping inmmore ways than one.\r It's a good thing! more

They sell new and used building supplies, donated by individuals and companies. Sometimes you can pick up needed items for pennies on the dollar compaired to the big chain stores. $5 for paint that sells for $20 at Lo*****??? It's terrific. The help is outstanding, and bends over backwards to help you. They talked me out of a cabinet that I thought would fit inmy kitchen, to a smaller, less expensive one, and they were right! The other wouldn't have fit. Great prices on flooring too! PROS: Great help, prices, service CONS: more people need to shop there!! more
