The Habit is wonderful. They have the absolute best burgers in the Santa Barbara area. I don't know what it is about them, but they are amazing. They also have a really good grilled halibut sandwich. Their fries are great too. They also have some really good milkshakes and ice cream. They have a variety of items on the menu - including fish, chicken, salads and burgers. The service is always quick and the people are always friendly. The only complaints I have are the parking and the seating. It is relatively difficult to park here since the actual parking lot is quite small and is usually filled up and the street is so busy that it makes it somewhat dangerous to park on the street. Also, there is not a whole lot of seating and it is all outside. This makes it difficult since the weather is frequently gloomy and cold right near the beach. However, I will gladly be just a little bit cold if it means I get to have a burger from The Habit.
