My first experience with this H&R block was last year, 2009, when my H&R tax person messed up on my state taxes. She entered my childs ssn incorrectly and caused a 2 week delay in my return. I kept repeating the ssn to her everytime, but she did not listed. I was refunded back the amount H&R block charged for doing my state return. I decided to try them again for 2010 filing and it took over 3.5hrs to do my return..did I mention that she did not finish and this did not include waiting time until I saw her? I finally left with my children, who were very well behaved while they waited. We only own one house. I was then contacted the next day and told that the employee that did my taxes @ H&R block last year did not carry over my adoption credit for this year as she promised it would, so I would be out that amount of money/credit as well. Then I was told that for some reason I would have to mail in my federal return, the first time ever but with no explanation as to why. Did I mention that my information from last year did not automatically populate for this year when our ssn were inputted because they had changed the primary filer. Even after she saw this, she refused to use the information from last year and reput everything in with someone else as the primary filer but flipped back and forth between the 2009 filing and the 2010 filing? She also charged my for another form that I did not need, but that another employee caught and told her I did not need that form. I just want this nightmare to be over with. I can guarantee that I will not be using this office or any H&R block this next year since the employees travel from office to office. Lesson learned and I still am not filed.
