I left the Jackson Hewitt office and continued down the street, trying to locate Tax John. The next office I came to was H&R Block. Usually, H&R Block is thought of as the creme de la creme of accountants, so I stopped in. However, I found a surly staff that was one step short of rude. They did seem to know more about taxes than the people at Jackson Hewitt, but they seemed only interested in whether or not I wanted a Rapid Refund or one of those debit cards.\r

As far as I know these are very expensive ways to get you refund, and anyway, I was more interested in how I could reduce my tax liability than how I can get my refund faster. They might be smart at H&R Block, but beware.
Pros: Well Known Accountants
Cons: Poor Customer Service
