Went to H&R block just like we do every year. the only difference is we're in a new city. This office here in Barstow, CA is the WORST customer service and product service I have ever recieved. I have payed them to mess up my taxes twice now. The second time they didn't even tell me they were charging me until I was about to walk out the door. When I said I needed their mistake fixed they simply said, ""I'm sorry. I can take care of that for you."" Then as I was leaving I hear ""Mam' you need to pay for that. It's $75.00.""
So now after 2 months waiting for the rest of my return instead I get a packet from the IRS saying to fix it the amendment because it wasn't prepared right. I call corporate who tells me to return to either my local office or the next closest, at an hour away, and PAY AGAIN to have it reamended. I may have been dumb enough once to pay the second time, but not a third time. So if you're going into this office beware because not only do they not know how to use their computer programs (by the way) they also will keep messing up YOUR TAXES to make more money. And the main offices of H & R Block support it.
