For the 2003 tax season, we paid for H&R Block's Premium service, which included being able to contact them throughout the year with any questions, concerns or changes in our tax situation. The person that prepared out taxes was wonderful and did a good job. We received our refunds quickly and she answered all of our questions. We were told to contact the office with any changes in our lives that would affect our taxes. In May we had a baby and a while later, my husband received a raise. We tried on several occasions to contact the office to report the changes. Each time we got an answering machine and never got a call back. Finally, at the end of the year, after calling the corperate customer service number a few times, we finally started getting calls from them. They wanted to apologize and wanted our business again. To make up for it, they sent us a gift certificate for $50 - to be used towards their Premium Service for tax year 2004. No thanks! We already missed out on 7
