H&R Block

Mary Magele over charged me for a simple form, and doesn't know all the tax laws, I had another tax prepare agency look over my tax from last years, they amended them and got me more money back... if I was you I would NOT have her do my taxes or H& R block do my taxes, I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK, I only gave they one star, because it would not accept my comment, in fact I would give them a - star more

I wouldn't take my takes to Sharon, Betty, Paul... any of the supposed ""tax-preparation experts"" at this location. It's taken them over a week to do a simple federal return, with excuses abound about who is handling the case, and why it's taking so long. The owner, ""Paul"" or ""David"" or ""Daniel"" (I'm not sure which as each person on the phone gives me a different name) is unreachable and Betty, the receptionist has lied to me on more than 4 occasions about such a simple thing as which office she's working at! She's even given me bogus contact information for the owner. Heck, I was asked for my bank account and routing number over the phone and the person calling became very agitated when I explained that I refused to pass on that information. We specifically ASKED for someone that was capable of handling w-2s from multiple states... and Sharon has taken a week to do the work. On top of that, this office has refused to disclose who checked the data, per H&R Block's ""guarantee"", that I might follow up on the legitimacy of my tax return. So now we're out $250, with a tax return that looks shady. Take your taxes to Liberty... or a private CPA... anybody but these people. They're little better than thieves. more
