Well seeing that as of 2010 H & L has had a third driver nominated as "Driver of the Year" in the state of California, "Small Business of the Year" in the state of California and a "Vision Award" recognized Nationally for there Clean Air Fleet, and exemplary Business and Safety standards , I can see why someone would write a bad review...( @scoobysteven who has targeted many small businesses). H & L's safety records can be publically viewed and I invite anyone to view the gallery of photos to see our vintage equipment and stinky drivers... more

Average at Best 5/17/2010

The bus our group chartered was vintage, and seats were not too comfortable, and when I contacted the company's "Safety" individual, 3 times, to convey my point, she did not even pay me the courtesy of a reply. I'll never use em again, and I'm highly suspicious of the other two posted 5 star reviews. I'd bet they were written by the companys employees. Buyer beware. Pros: None that I saw Cons: Old Buses, Staff Fail to Return Calls, Driver Stinks BO more

Great Service 6/2/2009

Have used them several time for work trips with my students, and they're GREAT! Courteous, on time and knowledgeable drivers. Takes the stress out of a large group trip! more

Great Bus Company 3/30/2009

I just got back from a trip on H&L buses. The drivers were great. The buses were clean and all equipment was up-to-date and in working order.When a tire blew on one of the buses, the company got a tire service out to repair it within 10mins. and had a replacement bus on the way at the same time in case the tire couldn't be repaired. The tire was repaired and the bus was on it's way and met up with the first bus within 45 mins..This company was great. I would use them whenever I need to use a bus company. more
