DISGUSTING! My husband and I were completely disappointed after eating here just now that I had to write this! My fries were soaked in oil, they gyro was flavorless without the sauce and my Hera sandwich literally contained 4 chunks of chicken! I'll never go back! more

As if finding an outside place to eat isn't already hard enough! If you are VEGETARIAN or VEGAN, I would not suggest coming here. The aphrodite which contains falafel and other veggies is OKAY. They are overpriced, $7 bucks and change, not including drink. You are better off going to an actual mediterranean place and getting a falafel wrap/pita that is authentic and way cheaper. The service isn't so great either. The guys who work there are idiots and they make crappy wraps. They ALSO put the wrap on the fryer (where chicken and meat are cooked) and then put your falafels and veggies. GROSS. and last but not LEAST, I had a soup from there today and found a hair in it. The gyroville in pines is just nasty. STAY AWAY from idiots who don't understand the concept of what being vegetarian is. more

The staff is friendly, and everything on the menu is fantastic. Make sure you try all of the sauces--they're awesome on the gyro pita or on french fries! Hubby's fave is the Zeus, with three different kinds of meat (a carnivore's dream). more

I have a few words to say….. perfection!!!!!!!\r I have to say it can't get any better than this, this is the real deal with authentic Greek food.\r The food is by far the best!!!!!!!\r The price is right and if you're looking for a place that has a great atmosphere, quality, excellent service, and the flavors of the food that melt in your mouth. This is the place to be!!!!!!!. You will be hooked!!!!!!!. more

The food is good, no doubt about that. The portion is what I have an issue with. I like the fact that for $1.00 more you can get fries and for $2.00 more you can get a small greek salad. But overall I don't think it's the best value for the dollar. more

This place is extremely clean and classy. I used to go to the one on cypress creek close to my house and i was happily surprised that they have a new one now close to my office. The people who work there are soo nice and the food is amazinnng. I go there all the time now and I have never seen anyone who is less than happy with the food or service. I think People who put bad reviews are the competitors because i am sure gyrovillle took a lot of business from others. more

When one reminisces about "home" they think about the friendly faces, the warm hospitality and the amazing food. Upon entering Gyroville, you are immediately transported back to those memories. From the warm and responsive staff to the succulent food, this place embodies greek fast food at its best. \r \r Visiting from New York, which is the mecca of all ethnic food, my expectations were not that high. I would soon find myself eating those words (all pun intended). The place was spotless, the staff was inviting and the food was amazingly delicious. The chicken was juicy, the dips were delectable and the french fries were out-of-this-world. Although, there were several other spots I wanted to venture to on my short stay, I found myself gravitating to this place more than once. One just can't keep away after the first experience. N.Y., watch out, you have a true competitor with Gyroville! more

I have been eating my lunch almost twice a week since gyroville opened,i went there Friday lunch and the place was a mess. the gentleman that usually takes my order has not been there the last 3 times Ive went(he probably found a better job since he seemed over qualified for his position)Instead there was an older gentleman there who seemed out of it,the chicken was dry and it looked liked he was going to fallover.none of the workers seemed happy and there was no communication, since I was asked the same question 3 times.ive never complained about a restaurant or service but when the service goes from 4 stars to 0 stars i had to write something.I guess its back to chipolte(there service is no better but atleast it doesnt feel like there going to mess my order up. more

It was okay. Not at all impressed. It was very much not authentic at all. The lamb gyro should be fresh as they advertised, instead it came from already sliced meat... not off the leg that was in the warmer. I was disappointed. Staff was friendly and a bottle of water was $2.50, shocked! Were we in a fair?? more

I went in expecting one of these fad fast food chains with bland insulting versions of ethnic food. WOW WAS I SURPRISED! I was first welcomed by a very nice man who explained the menu and the options I had. I of course went with the gyro and to add a mix into it since I'm such a foodie, thought let me try their fries too! The gyro exploded in my mouth. There was a party in my taste buds. These fries are cut, and fried to perfection. Crunchy crackly exterior with an almost creamy center. The tzaziki sauce was a perfect companion. I was so taken back by the quality I had to ask the employees about this place. Turns out the owner is a CIA graduate, he is bringing high end food with quality ingredients to the masses! All I can say is ... IM GOING BAAAAK more

Coming from Chicago where there is a large Greek town and you can get gyros anywhere, I cannot tell you how happy I am to have this restaurant nearby. For the past 6 years that I have lived here in Cooper City, I have searched high and low for a REAL gyro sandwich. I say that because most restaurants here in south Florida serve frozen gyro strips, instead of the REAL gyros that are cooked on a rotating spit. I went in to this restaurant with high hopes and left EXTREMELY satisfied. The service is fantastic, they are friendly and engage each customer with undivided attention. The food is fantastic and the gyro sandwich was amazing. I have been back twice a week since I discovered them on 1/25/11 and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a real, authentic and satisfying gyro sandwich. I need to try their other selections, they look great and other customers have told me how much they enjoyed their meals (once I have satisfied my gyro cravings, I'm going to give the other dishes a try!) more

I've eaten here twice and both times were extremely good. The food is great and the staff has to be the nicest in South Florida. You order exactly what you want, Greek-style, and the facility is beautiful and clean. I would definitely recommend this! more

Well the food isn't bad yes the service is very friendly. But it is also very fake they say their grapeleaves are fresh and they make then themselves but you can see the cans of grapeleaves from where you order. Once again food is good. But customer appreciation lacks I've seen a tall slender guy get so angry at his workers that he swears at them. In front of customers. I only return for the food. Nothing else. Hopefully another Greek restaurant opens soon more

I recently went there with my wife after leaving the hospital and was greeted by who I believe was a manager (think they called him James). He was very personable and walked me and my wife through all the components being it was are first time. While doing this he made are visit there very plentiful and even though busy always kept a smile. Will be back soon. more

We got the gyro pita and the chicken. The gyro was the best value as they pile on the gyro meat! The chicken was ok, but not as flavorful as gyro and the portion size was too small. They were great about adding plenty of tazhiki, fresh tomatoes and red onions. Delicous and will return. Added fries for $1 and it was a big big portion. I didn't eat them fresh as my order was to go but they were still pretty tasty. more

We wanted to go to Chipotle but ended up here and definitely worth it... We ordered Vegetarian wrap and it was out of the world.. Love this place..Will definitely keep visiting.. more

I'm not much of a review writer, but this place was absolutely amazing! I was welcomed by a very friendly staff that was more than willing to explain all the different sauces they had, they even went as far as to give me samples of every single one. The gyro's were a very good size and I definitly left there quite full. It brought back memories of the gyro's in New York. and I was more than pleased. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that you are receiving. I will be definitly be going there again and I'll be sure to bring all my New Yorkers with me. :) more
