This is a fast food, quick pace restaurant. Good variety from apps to desserts. There isn't much room to sit and eat. Don't bring any groups with you to lunch. Was overwhelmed at the size of the Gyro (pronounced Yee-roh) prepared for me. I ordered the combo (Gyro and greek salad)... it was impossible to eat it all. Tsediki sauce is not perfect, but good. Its what you would expect from a small fast food spot. Would love to see them add some "add-ons" to the sandwich : sauteed mushrooms, onions, provolone cheese. Just as an option. more

This place is the furthest thing from greek food. I was not happy with my food. It took forever and tasted very bland. Would not recommend this place!!!! more

When one reminisces about "home" they think about the friendly faces, the warm hospitality and the amazing food. One step in the door, you are immediately transported back to those memories. From the warm and responsive staff to the succulent food, this place embodies greek fast food at its best. \r \r Visiting from New York, which is the mecca of all ethnic food, my expectations were not that high. I would soon find myself eating those words (all pun intended). The place was spotless, the staff was inviting and the food was amazingly delicious. The chicken was juicy, the dips were delectable and the french fries were out-of-this-world. Although, there were several other spots I wanted to venture to on my short stay, I found myself gravitating to this place more than once. One just can't keep away after the first experience. N.Y., watch out, you have a true competitor with Gyroville! more

We got a Large Greek Salad. For $7 I expected a bit more. While the actual items in the salad were fresh...onions seemed to be missing. The dressing was BLAND and I almost cracked a tooth on an olive (they were supposed to be pitted). This experiance doesn't make me want to go rush out and try their other menu items. more

Went to this place for the first time today. I had driven past a hundred times, and kept meaning to try it. It was delicious. I got a chicken gyro and a side greek salad. I can't wait to go back. Their tag line is "really fresh", and that was absolutely true. The chicken gyro pita had white meat chicken chunks from a kabab grilled, a delicous yogurt sauce, fresh romaine lettuce chopped into thin pieces, fresh diced tomatoes, and I asked for onions and olives, and the pita was warm and soft with a slight crisp edge--I don't know how they do that, but it's delicous! The side salad was a small greek salad and was also fantastic. The cashier, who seemed like he might have been owner or manager was very friendly and we chatted about the other stores opening up in various locations, he seemed very excited about it. I was happy for them...this place should be a nationwide chain! Loved it. Can't wait to try the other menu items and to bring my husband to try it. more

This is just Mr Gyros with a new name (no change of ownership, just a change of branding) so I'm not sure why there is a new listing for it. Same chop-chop place as before. more

Heard good buzz about the small chain -- and the buzz is right! I tried the "Hera" (all sandwiches are names after Greek gods..kinda kitschy, but it means you don't have to mispronounce "souvlaki"), grilled chicken on a pita with lots of fresh additions. Tasty and just the right size. Also sampled the gyro platter (w/side salad and rice pilaf; hand-cut fries are an option) and the "Hermes," which was grilled Greek cheese on a pita ($1.99 extra for gyro mean) with fresh tomato; don't know if this is customary, but the Hermes was 2 pitas, while the Hera was only one. Got a loyalty card (like a plastic credit card) -- don't know what this gets me in the future, as it was not explained. Word to the wise: this place gets MOBBED at lunch, so preview the menu online and know what you want in advance. Staff behind the counter (all food is assembled in front of you) was really hopping. more
