I have lived in several Central American countries and the food at the Gypys Cafe is wonderful. Within the Latin culture, the evening meal is to be experienced, so time is taken not only to prepare the food, but to enjoy it and the company of others. This is true for the Cafe, so if you want quick, go to McDonalds. I make sure i visit at least once each year, preferably with a group of friends. Just like dining in Latin America 5/13/2004

With a ""travelling menu"" from a different country every week, and absolutely wonderful food, this is the best restaurant in Yellow Springs, and possibly the Dayton area. Only come if you plan on spending a quite a while and having a dining experience -- it may take a while, but it is well worth the wait. The don't serve wine, but they do encourage you to bring a bottle. And make sure you have the ""Besso del Diablo"" for dessert.
