We have personally used Gym Kids for gymnastic classes for my daughter off and on over the past couple of years. It is a low-pressure studio, as in the teachers are not trying to raise Olympic athletes, but the students are taught real gymnastics… it is not just a tumbling class. They use professional style equipment including bars, rings, beams, vault, etc. They have classes for all ages and even a team. Now, while all this is positive, there are a few negatives... the studio is in a run down warehouse and it is not aesthetically pleasing. They tend to be a bit unorganized about communicating with you as their customer and it can be hard to get reliable information from them. Overall though, I do think they are the best option for true gymnastics on the east side.
