I would advise anyone to not deal with Maryam Tabassian. She is a shame to her profession and doesn't practice her industry code of conduct neither know how to pay respect to her patients. Her poor communication skills and her knowledge as a dentist ended up costing me over $5k. Not only did I lose my money, but the way she argued with me over my concerns and raised her voice in conversation is shocking to someone in her caliber. I would rather pay twice????the price and go to someone who can at least listen to my concern as a patient. Please don't fool for any of her poor ortho or dental recommendation and go see a professional clinic. Her own staff gave me their phone number and apologized for the way she treated me, not only that they vented their frustration and said she treats many of her patients the way she treated me. Oh my gosh WHERE to begin, I came to this office over 4 months ago. We had a WONDERFUL oral surgeon, Dr, Haddad, I highly recommend him and will go back. I went to this office to get my daughter a bone graph and implant..the only reason I went is b/c it was suggested that my medical insurance might pay part of it. This group was the only oral surgeon on my plan. In Feb. we went in for a consult..of $127. Was told yes they could do this. Ashley was supposed to get with the insurance company and get back with me...over two weeks later I had not heard back...called to check on hold at my work for over 20 minutes. She came back on and said insurance company needed more info...of course she forgot to call me to tell me this. I had to give THEM the insurance code I had gotten from my other doctor. Another 3 weeks went by never heard back...a lot of other stuff in between. Insurance denied bone graph but suggested this oral surgeon call the insurance company and set up a peer to peer. more

These people are the most horrible people on this earth. They are not very professional at all, rude, and just plain jerks. They wanted to take way too many x-rays of my daughter, I guess they don't realize she could get cancer with that much exposure. They also wanted to send me on my way when for some reason I didn't CONFIRM MY APPOINTMENT. What ever that means, because I have never had to do that anywhere before. HORRIBLE service do not go! more

have had several issues with the staff here. Staff is rude, and two of the main dentists there have completely disregarded our complaints regarding post op surgery issues. Take heed! more

Stay very far away from this office. Deceptive practices with insurance. Will not honor provider discounts. Will bill for services before they are rendered then collect from the insurance and not return your money. more

Beware of this girl. She is extremely rude. I have been a patient there for over 15 years and have never had a problem with my insurance and or payments. She treats you like a criminal trying to skip out on payment. Gwinnett Family Dental, your dentists and htgienists are the best. There are so many professional courteous people out there looking for jobs. Replace Ashley or you will start loosing many many patients, my whole family included. more

The dentists are wonderful there, they might need to restaff the front office. The dental assistants are the best, very very personable. When working with the accounting staff on your benefits be very careful and double check for accuracy. more
