Gw Taxi

I would like to start off by saying I'm a long time customer but this is my first time doing a review. I stumbled upon this site and noticed this review about their service how it was bad and I have to say that I'm surprised. Anytime I have ever used them, their service has been Outstanding. Yes, Sometimes their wait times can be long, But I have absolutely no problem waiting for them. If they have long wait times that must mean that the public uses them quite often and they feel the same about their service as I do. There have been times where I have called to make a reservation and have been put on hold because i can hear the other phone lines in the office were ringing off the hook or you can hear the drivers calling into the dispatcher, But that just proves how busy they are. No matter what though, the dispatchers have always been nice and then we begin our call. Their drivers are always helpful. Quick to carry a bag or ask me how my day was when i get into the car. Nothing could ever change my mind about G.W. Taxi. I'm sure there are others out there that feel the same as I do about their service. In closing, I hope that their business gets bigger and busier because that will keep them in business for the local area for a long time to come. more

how much per mile do these cabs cost cuse sometimes im unable to drive to get home or its to late to take to bus home and would like a decently priced way of getting home? more

dont ever take a yellow nyc or lincoln cab home ever again to jersey, they pick u up in the city and charge u literally half of what the nyc guys charge, why pay 30 to 40 dollars when all they are doing is crossing a bridge or tunnel? there fast, reliable, and know there way around, way better then babes or a1 which have crazy drivers and coming home late at night with a crazy driver who has no sense of direction doesnt please you at all Pros: picks u up from the city, fast, reliable, smart drivers, cheap Cons: wish they had a station in nyc more

I've tried A-1 Taxi and Babe's Taxi and had mediocre to horrendous experiences with both--rude drivers with no social skills or knowledge of the area, curt dispatchers, smelly cars, you name it. The last straw was when I actually had to get out of a cab (2 blocks from the pickup) and cancel the ride because the driver was so unpleasant and had no idea where anything was! Ever since I tried G.W. Taxi, I have never called any other cab company. Their dispatchers and drivers are not only courteous and knowledgeable about the NNJ area, but go out of their way to be helpful and friendly, and the vehicles are clean and comfortable. Save yourself a lot of headache and learn from my experience--call G.W. Taxi first! more
