This is the Bradley Tank of gutters. It is insanely engineered and overbuilt to last a lifetime without clogging with leaves, pollen, pine needles, twigs, etc. Like several other brands of gutters it ingeniously uses water's natural surface adhesion to bend rainwater around its blunt edge and into the drain. The water drips in upside down, but the leaves and gunk do not. This idea really works, even in very hard rains. I've spent some soaking wet time closely inspecting how well this clever system works in the worst downpours of the winter, and the physics caught about 98% of the rain (and zero debris). GutterShutter distinguishes itself because of the quality of their build. They use 0.032 inch aluminum which means that you can hang from the gutters, or throw a heavy ladder on it without fear of denting it. I was very impressed with the solid construction details because of previous experience with wimpy metal gutters that bent or rusted. They also use heavy duty internal braces to screw in the gutter not just to the fascia board but to the roof rafters themselves. There's no doubt in my mind these will outlive me. Finally, the company guarantees there will be no debris in the gutter ever -- and will come clean it out themselves if you do find any. We live directly under several 100-foot Pine and Redwood trees that drop leaves and pollen cones year round. I would spend a weekend twice a year cleaning out several inches of crap, and the rest of the year knowing I should do it more often. I tried all kinds of gutter guards but without success. The downside of GutterShutters is their very high cost. They are expensive, no way around it (and they have heavy duty sales pitches). Probably $30-40 per foot . Because of that cost we limited where we put them -- wherever I was tired of hanging off a 30-foot ladder several times a year. So far, I've had zero work to do on the gutters, so their more

I used to work for this company and let me tell you unless you kiss some major ass and are part of the inner circle you will get treated like crap at this company. As sales tactics go the sales people have a sales pitch where they have to hear a customer say "NO" five times before they will leave your home. This company is run by crooks and needs to be shutdown! After you write a check to these people that's where the customer service ends. The owner needs the money to take his expensive trips and spoil his little bitches that work for him. Don't buy from this company and dont work for them either! more

Don't work for this company (Queen City Gutters/ Guttershutter Company of Cincinnati, under John Cross). They do not have enough appointments for everyone and just laid off a lot of sales people. I did not get paid for my last 2 weeks of base pay, did not get commission for almost all my sales, did not get paid for gas (as promised). They lied about the sales territory (they claimed Cincinnati area, but I got sent 70 miles away to Indiana for almost every appointment). I spent at least $150 on gas each week. The leads are horrible, and they only have 1-2 per day. Most "customers" asked them not to send someone, but they still sent us. Most of these people do not have any money (they are unemployed or indebted widows). And our price is so high that it is a rip-off anyway. Does anyone know how to go about a lawsuit against them? more

We love the guttershutter system we had installed 2 years ago. It was the highest quality gutter cover system out there, and we haven't had any problems with it. We have several trees in our yard so cleaning the gutters was a constant chore. Now, the guttershutter takes care of it all. The salesman was helpful and got us a great price. The installation was quick and well-done. I would recommend it to a friend. more

Called to set an appointment with us last night. Salesman shows up and doesn't even want to measure to give us the estimate at first. Then after he does, he pulls the old trial close "if I get you bewteen $X and $y, will you write me a check now". We must have said something in the neighborhood of YES because by the time he made his "good for a year without discounts" quote was done, he was calling us liars IN OUR OWN HOUSE because we said NO! VERY VERY POOR SALEMANSHIP!!! STAY AWAY FROM GUTTER SHUTTER IN CINCINNATI!!! more

gutter shutter has called me aprox.50 times wanting me to let them come out and give me an estimate.I have told them no over and over,but they keep calling.I once evev told them that i did not want their services,but they kept trying to sell,so I told them to send their rep. out and I will yell and cuss at him.There only answer was good when would you like to schedule an appointment?I once again explained all I'm going to do is yell and cuss him out,and the operator kept saying good when can we schedule?I have requested to speak with a supervisor three times and was informed three times that I would be taken off the call list,but they keep calling.WHY?????If I was going to have this service performed why would I use gutter shutter?They have been such a pain about selling there is no way I would ever have them perform any service for me.If there work is of any account why do they have to push so hard?Please Quit Calling Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

The Gutter Shutter system is a blessing, i live in a home with tons of trees around, and screens never worked. Since i had the system installed a few years ago, I haven't cleaned them once! I used to have them cleaned once a month. On top of that, they look exquisite. Sure their was some sales pressure, but no more than any other home improvement salesperson. I recommend the GutterShutter system to anyone with trees around the home or needs new gutters. more

We scheduled an apointment with the gutter shutter company to give us a quote. They told us that they would come by and give us an estimate. When they showed up only my wife was home. I was at work. They were furious. They called me on my cell and told me that I had to be there to. When I told them I just needed their best quote, they told me they would send me a bill for the gas and hung up on me. Sounds like a high-pressure condo time-share tactic to me. They actually had the nerve to call me again! Stay away from these people! more

My house is small 1000 square feet and they quoted me a price of $4000 dollars after a hour and a half presentation then if i signed that day it would be $3200 and then when i told the man to leave it was 2,600 dollars. So later that week i got a call saying they would do it for 1,600 dollars. So if i sign that day they would have charged almost 3 times that amount Don't sound like a very honest company to me. I went with a company called rain a way they are very honest and have done my gutters and some roofing work. rain away is an honest company please stay away from gutter shutter. more
