Thank you to Dr Young and all his staff for treating my little cat "Lucky" who was very sick... she has made a great recovery. Thank you once again.

guntersville animal hospital is the WORST sheter for adopting the animals. they don't even try, their hours for viewing the pets are so few, and then they claim they don't ''have ...

We have been taking our dogs (kids) to Guntersville Animal Hospital for over 12 years. We have adopted two beautiful Dobermans from them also. Have had surgery on six of our dogs and have multi mishaps with our kids which have been taken care of by Dr. Young. Everyone seems to be pleased when one of our kids comes in. more

Best in Town 2/7/2014

Love Love this place. Beautiful facility and the most friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very reasonable grooming rates. It's February so don't forget to spay and neuter your pets. The Guntersville Animal Hospital is our new vet and groomer. I will recommend you to all of my fur loving friends. Thank you guys for being so sweet to our little Harley :) more

Best Around 2/4/2014

Dr.Young and his staff are very friendly and helpful. The facility is very nice and clean. Dr.Young is the best around! He truly cares about the health and well being of your animal. On my first visit Dr.Young discovered a heart condition in my cat that my other vet had failed to find in 3 office visits. He takes the time to explain everything so that the normal person can understand. I would recommend Guntersville Animal Hospital to anyone needing a vet! more

We have just completed Sadie's second visit and so far I am pleased with the service and staff. They are friendly and helpful. I met Dr. Young on the first visit and I have no doubt he is the Dr. I want to take care of Sadie. The building is very clean and well taken care of . If you are new to the area or in need of a Dr. that will take good care of your pet I highly recommend Dr. Young. more

Knowledgeable and Kind Staff!!! 1/30/2014

I am new to the area and was worried about finding a nice vet for my cat, Ernest. We decided to try Guntersville Animal Hospital and I could NOT be more pleased with our experience there! The staff is SO sweet and friendly and handled Ernie with a lot of care. Dr. Young is incredibly knowledgeable and personable and I feel confident knowing he is a good doctor to Ernie. I will definitely bring Ernie and all of my future animals back to this vet!! more

I would highly recommend Guntersville Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a vet.. Dr. Young and his staff are friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. They care about your pet as if it were their own..They have been our vet for a couple of years and I would never go to anyone else ...they are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!! more

Guntersville Animal Hospital 1/28/2014

I have been using Guntersville Animal Hospital for over 15 years. We use their grooming services and new boarding suites as well. I have always felt very comfortable taking my pets to Dr Young. He is caring and compassionate and the staff are very friendly and professional.We have used them in emergency situations as well as for routine shots and check ups. I would highly recommend Guntersville Animal Hospital. more

Healed My Heart 1/18/2014

I love the Guntersville Animal Hospital!! I had a Black Lab that I had for 14 years of an amazing life, and when it came time to put him too rest the Amazing staff were so compassionate to our family. I had my furbaby son cremated. After I had received his remains, a few days later I received a wonderful sympathy card with his footprint in the card. I now have a new baby and the staff go above and beyond my expectations! I greatly appreciate the kindness our family receives from them!! more

Absolutely The Best 12/12/2013

I moved to Guntersville in 2006 with my three cats. Dr. Young has taken care of them since. He and his staff genuinely care about your pets. Not only are they knowledgeable and have the most up to date facility, their compassion and care is overwhelming. I lost my precious 9 year old Amos to cancer and he spent his last few days with the staff there. It was so comforting to know his last moments were spent with people who cared so much for him. You will not find a better place to care for your pets. more

Top of the Line 12/11/2013

If you love your pet like one of your kids the Guntersville Animal Hospital is the place to go. Have been using GAH for about 12 years. Dr. Young and his staff are A+, they treat our babies just like they are their babies. The facility is clean and top notch. I use their grooming service twice a month, which is also top of the line. Would highly recommended GAH. more

Caring and friendly 12/11/2013

Love this place and all the staff....I have been taking my dog Scooter there since we adopted him over 7 years ago....He is the first dog I have ever had that you can say we are going to the doctor and he will run to get in the car instead of hiding....And the newest member of the family, Minnie, has already been in to get her shots and get spayed...Everyone is so friendly and caring,and isnt that what we want for out pets when they are sick... more

Dr. Young's Animal Clinic 6/30/2013

If you love your Pets like family this is the Vet Clinic for you. I have used this clinic for many years and occasionally went somewhere else but cannot find the service and care this group provides. The staff is the best I have ever seen and Dr. Young is a caring honest Vet. They go out of their way to help in anyway they can. When you get older like my husband and I, then that alone is worth its weight in gold. I would reccomend this clinic to anyone. more

Need to advertise adoptable animals more 11/13/2009

I have adopted a few cats from here. The staff has always been very nice and helpful. I would like to see them do more advertising. Lots of people don't even know they have adoptable animals. I asked why their animals aren't featured on sites like Petfinder and was told their euthanization rate was so high they didn't have time for an ad to post before the animal had to be put down. Such a shame. I've sprung some beautiful animals from here. more

Wonderful vet, small country clinic, reasonable prices 2/5/2009

I am not one who usually writes reviews but I simply had to respond to the complaint that this clinic doesn't make it's animals as available for adoption as the writer thinks they should. Dr. Young and his small staff run a wonderful country veterinary practice and he doesn't charge Big City prices. His fees are reasonable enough to allow me to get another dog, because now I can actually afford the vet bills. If you want a Kitty Condo with Animal Planet on TV, Doggy Daycare or 24/7 Animal Spas, this isn't the place for you. But for good honest caring veterinary care, you can't beat 'em. more

guntersville animal hospital is the WORST sheter for adopting the animals. they don't even try, their hours for viewing the pets are so few, and then they claim they don't ''have the staff available'' to walk back into the back to show them, when hours are they are supposed to. they refuse ANY volenteers, and they don't even put them on the internet. what chance do the animals there have to get adopted? looks like they care only about money, not adopting out pets. more

Great hospital 1/24/2008

We had our dogs cruciate ligament repaired by Dr. Young and he and his staff were wonderful. It is the cleanest hospital I have ever been in. They were very reasonably priced. \r \r Chris more
