I went to the Buffalo Gun Center to buy a hand gun. The guy that waited on me was in the hand gun department was very pleasant and answered all my questions thoroughly. I was very impressed with him..I did end up buying the hand gun. Very satisfied and I will go back to him and him only. They will see more of my business in the future... more

I actually haven't been in there yet, my boyfriend and I passed by the place quite a few times last night, but just didn't have the time to stop in. Driving back and forth I saw the parking lot getting full and people were pretty much in and out.\r \r I've never shot a gun or a rifle, but my boyfriend says this is his favorite place in the area and wants to take me in there soon to look around so that he can take me shooting for the first time.\r \r I actually haven't been in there yet, my boyfriend and I passed by the place quite a few times last night, but just didn't have the time to stop in. If you go in there, know what you want. If you're a novice, listen to them, they have more knowledge & experience than you, (remember: you're the novice)\r I've been going there the last 30 years and bought a number of firearms there. Never had a problem getting waited on, if you go in there when its super busy (Saturdays) reserve your long list of BS questions etc for another less busy time (afternoons during the week). If it is a social experience you're looking for, then join a club, these folks are trying to run a business. The selection is always good, most items that I need are in stock most of the time, prices being what they are, nothing is cheap anymore. Give these guys a chance. more

""new to guns"" Seen add or heard from co-worker about pistol permit class. Took class there. I did very good. 9 months later I got my permit. You should not have to wait this long. Bought gun .22 caliber they gave me info on local gun clubs and shooting ranges. Then shooting bought a glock 19 love to shoot it. Nice store helpful and doing there best to help you out. more

Big help. Had a problem with a gun bought at Gander Mountain and there gun smith at buffalo gun center showed us why the rifle would not open. And took it in the back room and switched a bolt and the scope mount and said it was fine now. NO CHARGE. It took them just 20 minutes to help and fix me up. more

I've had nothing but positive shopping trips here. My wife too agrees. She wanted to surprise me with an rifle for my birthday (she had never bought a gun before) and after two other stores scared her away, Buffalo Gun Center made her feel comfortable and she came home with a smile and a gun. I have a Gander Mountain less than 2 miles from my house, but I choose to make the drive to Harlem rd because of the great service and selection. more

I was intimated. I was a new gun owner and a woman. Upon arrival in the store I was greeted fast with ""how can I help you"" in a abrupt way. I tried to explain and they said to go to back of the store. Long story...but very helpful after about 4 or 5 visits and a purchase they really walked me through everything and gave me a list of gun clubs and other advise nice place for beginners like I was. more

The store with the motto ""its for sale, not on sale."" Great selection, great service. The prices are good too. The knowledge base of the staff and owners is fantastic. These guys are a class act through and through! I went there all the way from Niagara Falls because of their knowledgeable staff and willingness to be helpful. Bad reviews must be employees they have fired in the past because I find it hard to believe that someone had a bad buying experience with them... Go visit them first and you wont go anywhere else! more

I've had several dealings with the gun 5/23/2012

I've had several dealings with the gun center, including a few conversations with the ""boss"". Everyone who I spoke to was helpful, knowledgeable, and very gun savvy. Best price I found with one exception on line, but freight made up the difference. Buy local! more

I went in there for my first time, and everyone treated me with great respect! Everyone is very knowledgeable about the law of guns, and how to take care of your weapon. I would recommend the Buffalo Gun Center to anyone in Buffalo, NY looking for a gun hobby. more

Best selection 5/8/2012

My dad and I have been there quite a bit in the past. We drove all the way from Rochester to come here because they have the knowledge and the best selection of firearms. The staff answers all of my questions and has suggested firearms in the past that i know call trustworthy and very reliable weapons. I will continue to do business with these fine gentlemen for many years to come. more
