Good and affordable on the Main Line 2/28/2006

If you want a comfortable, affordable place to eat in the upper-class Main Line suburban Philadelphia, Gullifty's is your place. The food is affordable and the service is above average. If you want a steak, Gullifty's is a good, affordable place to go. There is a wide variety of beers, but they come at a price. Also, their bar has an abundance of televisions, and they subscribe to many of the satellite sport packages (including MLB Extra Innings). This was especially important, being a Sox fan in Pennsylvania. more

Gullifty's is nifty 2/17/2006

Gullifty's restaurant is a local place that gives you American food with a flair. The food consists of burgers, pizza, steaks and the like - but it's always done well, not too greasy. The interior is interesting, with stairs going to the various seating areas. Service is fast. Good for a quick bite to eat. more

Outside section not as good. 9/14/2005

I have eaten at Gullifty's Restaurant several times, but it was not until recently that I tried the new outdoor section that they made. Not only is the menu different (it is shorter) but the service is not as good. I am not sure if they cook the food in the same kitchen, but I ordered a salas with salmon in it, and the fish was pink on the inside. I returned it for a new one which was ok. When the bill came, I was charged for something completely different (and more expensive) than I ordered. There was also one more issue about them not bringing silverware or water, I cant remember for sure. Anyway, when you have the opportunity to go to dinner at Gullifty's Restaurant, eat inside. more

Great salads and location 8/22/2005

This upscale restaurant has great service and a casual atmosphere. It would be a good place to date your family or for a date, and I especially enjoyed the salad. With hummus, pita, and lentils it was hearty enough to be a meal in itself. It's also located in a small shopping mall near a bookstore and ice cream shop, both good for after-dinner browsing. more

great new patio 8/21/2005

Gullifty's comes in handy with friends, family and little kids. They do it all. The great grill on their new patio really adds another dimension to the restaurant. Service is good - sometimes not as attentive as they should be. more
