Guidance Center

After you make an appointment Guidance Center in Franklin, you go sign in. The people at the front desk are very polite and that's the only good thing i can say about this place. But you then see your therapist. You sit and talk to them while they make their assessment on how to help you. Then they tell you that they will refer you to someone else because they are relocating to another state. That their have someone contact you back. The next thing you no your waiting on a phone call that was never going to occur in the first place. So I called the center myself. They know nothing that's going on with my case. And try to make it seem like their getting to fix it. Then the therapist that we had finally contact us back apologizing making up all kinds of excuses on why she never got back in touch. Then she says give me until the next week to again try to refer you to someone else saying.......the new therapist or i will contact you either that next tuesday or wednesday to set up an appointment . So you play the waiting game again, know one calls so you call back after hour and talk to that same therapist and then she says i'm so sorry the theorapist i refered you to isn't accepting new clients. And you stuck their on the phone like.......so when the hell were you gonna call back and tell me this.............................THE GUIDANCE CENTER AND THEIR THERAPIST ARE BULLSHITTERS................AND I THANK YOU FOR ADDING MORE DRAMA TO MY FAMILY LIFE. WHEN WE ACTUALLY CAME THEIR FOR HELP. YOU REALLY HELPED ALOT! more

I've suffered for years from depression due to a seratonin imbalance. New to the area, I got right in to see a therapist and psychiatrist with minimal wait time. The staff is patient, compassionate, and honestly cares about how you're doing. I've been to several other facilities that treaated me as ""just another patient."" Wow - was it nice to find a facility with such a different attitude! If you need counseling, advice, medication and a staff who cares, the Guidance Center is the best around. Conveniently located on Columbia Ave. Not hard to find. more

This is absolutely hands down THE worst experience I have EVER had with a doctors office of any kind. The office staff, although 'nice', are clearly as depressed as the patients that visit there. The on-call nurse doesn't return phone calls. This is not a one time issue, this is an EVERY TIME issue, resulting in sick people not getting their meds through absolutely no fault of their own. This is incredibly dangerous and outrageous. No one should have to call multiple times and chase down help. Aren't they supposed to be there to help? The nurses that actually see the patients are nice, but they're not the ones that return the majority of the calls. I am so fed up with these people, there are just no words. If this doesn't improve soon, I WILL report them to every place I can possibly find. If they are doing this to my family, who knows how many others are being completely neglected? I am very happy with the Guidance Center. They are very tendered and seem to treat everyone with love and compassion. I really really appreciate the receptionist there as well as Susan. I recommend them highly! more
