I worked for this company back in 2005 and they were unbelievable. They had the grandfather working there and he was disgusting. His own grandson pulled a machete on him and held it to his throat. They had so many illegal Mexicans working for them and they actually had a bust on that location for the illegals. He wouldn't pay me a regular paycheck and he wasn't paying any taxes on me and he held out taxes out of the cash he gave me. I lasted maybe three weeks and I quit! Please stay away from these people, they aren't anyone to trust! more

Guerra Brothers were late each and every time we were to meet and then they did over $5,000 damage to the floors of my house when they did not shut off the water to the washing machine after disconnecting it. They refused to file a claim with their insurance, if they have it, and Stella was rude every single time anyone called her. Do NOT ever use this company! Pay a bit more and work with professionals! more

I scheduled my move with Stella about a week before my move from Austin to Waco. I confirmed the time and date again with her at the end of my phone call. On moving day, the movers appeared to be running late. Thirty minutes after my scheduled time, I called to make sure that they weren't lost. The office manager informed me that she didn't know anything about this job. She proceeded to yell at me for being upset that I was two hours away without movers, cursed at me, and hung up on me (twice). I asked for the owner to call me back. She did not call me back until the following day, so I was forced to hire last minute movers in Austin, which cost me several hundred additional dollars. The conversations with both Stella and the office manager were extremely unprofessional. Both became extremely personal and inappropriate. The reason given for the breach of verbal agreement was that they originally wrote my phone number down wrong (they did not ask me to confirm it in the initial call). more
