Canyon Lake certainly is the center piece of the location with public boat ramps and access to Texas entertainment in New Braunfels and roads on or around Interstate 35 or you may go as far as Interstate TEN [10] and the Kerrville Folk festival at its peak. it is certainly more fun to get there taking back roads next to Camp Bullis and Ft Stanley or from Austin and dripping springs[willie nelsons events]..the entrance is easy to find the drive from the road seems to take forever as you experience nature at its best.
