I am Tom Rector and also a business man currently employed in Florissant. I loaned Brandon Rogers $1500 of my student loan money while I was attending barber school with him. The loan was for the purchase of a slightly damaged vehicle so Brandon could fix it, flip it and make some money. He never provided any proof that he actually used the money to purchase the vehicle. I also gave him the original copy of our contract so he could make copies and he never brought it back to me and offered several excuses over the period of 2-3 weeks. I did get another a signed contract and am currently in the process of filing in small claims, St Louis County. I have tried to contact him several times with limited success. Brandon has not attempted to contact me or make any kind of payment.
Brandon is a Veteran. As am I. And if this is how he treats his "brothers in arms" then I think that speaks volumes about his business character.
I realize that all of this could be interpreted as libelous or sladerous, which is illegal and punishable in a court of law... Without proof that is. I have a signed contract, a witness to that signing and will soon have a court case against Brandon. Oh and $1500 in student loan money gone, that I have to pay back.
