phenomenal customer experience 6/28/2011

I ended up at Group One earlier this year because I was tired of wondering whether my then-service advisor was making good recommendations for maintenance in light of the age of my car (an '02) and its mileage (115K). After checking out some of the competition and getting a recommendation from a co-worker, I stopped by the shop and was immediately impressed with Bart's approach. It's so refreshing to talk to someone who actually works on the car, who explains why he decides to do some things but not others, and who's trying to meet my objectives for service and repairs. Bart and his team know cars, they know how to work with customers, and they're not out to do work for work's sake. Just a phenomenal experience. more

Good Experience 3/10/2011

As a first time customer referred by a shop that I have TOTAL confidence in, I felt MotorWerks deserved a chance to prove to me they were as good as I expected, especially since I found out by what they suggested as to repairs that my previous shop I had lost confidence in. Their service was excellent, the explanations of what I may need now, and in the future was accurate, and the owners, Mark and Bart, were pleasant to deal with. While I felt their pricing on some was just a tad higher than I expected, I felt I was treated well, and will return as long as they can tell me ahead of time on what will be my next major repair. more

Group One is the best! 1/21/2011

I would highly recommend Group One to anyone in the greater Tucson area. I had problems with the motors in both doors that operate the windows on my Mini. They were repaired in short order and work great! Bart and his staff are very professional and operate a very clean shop. They came and picked me up at my home so that I didnt have to take a cab to pick up my car. When I arrived it was also washed, a nice surprise! I will definitely go back to Group One for all my repair needs. more

Good service at a fair price 1/17/2011

I used Group One Motorwerks for the first time when I received a discount in the mail to try them. I was very pleased with their analysis of the condition of my car and their price to put on new brake linings. I was also pleasantly surprised when they offered to drive me home and the cleanliness of my car when finished. I will definitely use them again to service my SL-500. more

Best BMW Repair Shop in Tucson 12/10/2010

Owning an import luxury car is great, but one of the problems owning a BMW is finding a repair shop that knows what they are doing and doesn't charge you an arm and a leg to do it. Group One Motorwerks is just such a place. They fixed my car with no problem when I was on the road. A lot of auto repair places take advantage of you they know you don't have a choice. Not this place! The part I needed was not in stock anywhere in town, but Bart located one and had it there the next day. Great work! Reasonably priced. Can't say enough good things about them. They do Mercedes and Porches too. more

Great people, good service, even found a problem with my new tires. 11/29/2010

The people were great... took me to the mall and picked me up when my car was ready. They found a problem with my new tires, so I can now go and take care of that next. The only thing was that when I called them to get an estimate on my Mercedes, they gave me an estimate range of $300-$400 based on my mileage, and said it would probably be closer to $300. My car didn't even need all that was on the list for the Service B.... and yet they charged me $490.... still cheaper than the dealer, but I was a bit disappointed because their estimate they gave me was much lower than what they charged me. more

Accurate estimate, made the repair needed, ready when promised, all with a smile. 10/28/2010

Not only did this shop do the work needed, it did so in the time promised and $10 under the estimate. Then the guy washed the car and priced another cosmetic repair that we might want to consider. Friendly, reliable service. 10/19/2010

This was the first time I took our CLK to Group Motorwerks. Service was reliable, friendly and honest. Shop is small, yet clean. Cost seemed reasonable. I'd definitely recommend them to any BMW, Mercedes or Porsche owner looking for a good independent mechanic. more

While some people might look at their approach as trying to sell more work for themselves, I appreciated their looking over the whole car and recommending things that they felt needed doing to keep my car in great shape. Interactions was excellent too. more

Excellent First Class Service 9/22/2010

I am new to Tucson and was looking for a good mechanic for my 97 Porsche Boxster, A neighbor had recommended Group One they said Bart and his team do great work and are reliable and honest, I took their advice and called Group One to set an appt. I spoke with Bart who was very customer service friendly and set an appt.to bring my car in. When I got to Group One I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff, They were very through in detailing my concerns with the car and got right on it. They had the car ready when they promised right on time and the charges for the repairs were more than fair and reasonable.
