Granted, I am not a local and only have had to opportunity to eat at Harvest once, but I am very happy that I did!! After a miserable meal the previous night at a chain restaurant I won't mention, I was searching for something more refined. Harvest definitely fit the bill!! I ordered the lump crab cakes, which were fantastic - lightly seasoned, mostly crab, with a crispy exterior and light sauce on the side. The night's special risotto was also fab - porcini mushroom, w/ light cheese and wine... and just the right consistency. The dessert was a delight, a twist on the Kentucky classic Bourbon Bread Pudding (a chocolate twist that is). Delicious!! The service was great, the ambience was lovely. It may not be something Lexington is used to, but it should be!!
Pros: delicious food, great service, contemporary ambience
Cons: expensive
