I did like Grotto's when I first moved down here. But have grown out of it. I only eat there pizza if nothing else is opened. Their pizza has become a greasy pile of mess with uncooked crust. I even hate how the cheese taste. But every out of stater loves this pizza. And I think most locals hate their pizza. The only thing good at Grotto's is their broccoli bites. Now we are talking about some good eating more

Grotto Pizza- Different, But Not Great 3/17/2006

Visitors to Delaware's beaches seem to love Grotto Pizza, although I am not sure why. While their pizza does have a different taste that distinguishes it from Domino's or Pizza Hut, I do not find it particularly appealing. Grotto's pizza is very greasy and the crust is always thin and crisp. If you like this kind of pizza, you will probably love Grotto's. Even if you don't, the restaurant offers a fun enviroment for eating out and they also have a delivery service. Grotto Pizza also has a selection of subs, salads, sandwiches, and pasta dishes to choose from. Overall, I would not say I dislike their pizza, but I do think that it is overrated. more
