The secretary at this business destroyed any chance this autobody facility would ever get my business. Positively MISERABLE human being. Would never recommend this auto body shop.

Great 6/27/2016

Groton Auto Body and Sales completed the job I needed within the time frame they had originally given me. I had to bring my car in for a back door replacement after a car accident. They were 100% honest and upfront with me and the pricing was fair. The lady who gave me the estimate was right on the ball and she was pretty on point with what it cost compared to what she estimated. They did really good work, they were really nice and they were really helpful and honest with me. I would definitely go back to them if I needed to. more

I love going to Groton Auto Body and Sales. They always do right by me. The most recent thing they did for me was some bodywork on my car. Everything was done when they said it'd be done. I didn't get jerked around which was pretty nice. They also set me up with a rental car so I didn't have to worry about it. more

Excellent service from start to finish 5/27/2016

Groton Auto Body and Sales is outstanding and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I was hit from behind by a flatbed truck that merged into my car. They take care of everything to make sure you are happy, and they stand behind their work to make sure you are satisfied. I got the car back a little before I expected, and you can't tell the car was hit. They offered to help with the rental but my insurance company helped me right away. They are so good to help you through the process. I called my insurance company to report the accident, then Groton Auto Body handled everything with insurance after that--which is nice and worth a lot. On another car they worked on, even the dealership commented on the quality and was absolutely shocked that anyone could get it as close to factory quality as they did. When you are trying to trade in your car for another and have a dealership comment on the quality of the paint--that's a good thing. more

I would recommend them without thinking about it 5/11/2016

Groton Auto Body and Sales has done a lot of work for me and everything has been just perfect. They are nice people to work with, and they produce very high-quality work. I have a 2001 GMC pickup truck, and the last thing they did was replace the brake lines that were rusted out. They did a wonderful job. I've used Groton Auto for five or six years, and I know they deliver on time and are good at communication. Their prices seem to be very competitive. I would always recommend them first for any work on the car. more

Groton Auto Boday and Sales was recommended to me by a good friend of mine. They are known for being meticulous with finishing details, and everyone always leaves their business happy. When we used their service to fix our car that had been in an accident, they did a superb job. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and you can't tell the car was in an accident. It was a very positive experience. I highly recommend their work to anyone. more

Great quality and value; very personable! 10/27/2014

I've been with Groton Auto Body and Sales Company for almost 10 years, and have used their services more than a dozen times! They do phenomenal auto-body work; I can't even see where was the dent in my car! Also, their estimates always end up being the same price at the end. They are fairly priced and the cars are always ready on time. I wouldn't go to anybody else - they are local and they make their customers happy! more

I have been working with Groton Auto Body & Sales for ten years now. They have done work on my Jeep Cherokee and also my Chrysler PT Cruiser. They provide an excellent services at very good prices. The technicians are knowledgeable and able to show me the parts they're working on as well as how they function. I would recommend them to anyone that needed bodywork or repairs underneath their vehicle. more

Great customer service 8/22/2014

My bumper was hit while parked in a parking lot. I had a great experience with Groton Auto Body and Sales. They were really good. They had my car ready within two days. The lady working the front desk, I think her name was Lisa, was very helpful. She was friendly, and she worked on contacting the third party responsible for the damage. more

Very helpful and professional 7/31/2014

My first time using Groton Auto Body was excellent. They were really responsive and straightforward. Rich took apart my car and didn't charge me for a diagnosis. He laid out my options and told me the exact costs for each of them. The prices were very upfront and the estimate matched the final costs. They were very reasonable as well. Rich repaired an automatic door that had stopped closing properly. My dealer wanted to charge me three times as much as Rich did to fix it and I was really pleased to find an independent auto body shop who could help me instead. It was a great experience. Rich and Lisa know what they're doing and are terrific to work with. They're also conveniently located. more

Highly recommended 7/25/2014

I've only had positive experiences at Groton Auto Body. I've used them three times and have always received excellent service. The last time that I used them, I had a situation where my race car got some body damage since I made contact with something on the track. Rich was willing to work with me and we collaborated on the repairs that needed to be done which I thought was very generous of him. The pricing is good and Rich is a super nice guy. He has also done rust repair on my other vehicles. He's definitely professional, personable, and knows his stuff. more

Groton Auto Body and Sales has straightened a frame, done a paint job, some body work, and replaced parts. I continue to use them because they're friendly, willing to work with you, not too overly priced (like some other companies in the local business area), and they're close to my work. They have a good customer base so I'll always go back to them. more

Good overall; one slight omission 6/27/2014

Groton Auto Body and Sales replaced my front bumper and did a couple of other things. The people working there are very nice and professional. The results of their work were just okay, as the work is slowly starting to separate. It was probably something that was overlooked, and also the mechanic forgot to put the air dam back in, and I forgot to remind him. I have received services there before, and it was fine. I haven't called them yet about getting them to do it again, but I will soon, and I am sure they will do it. more

Groton Auto Body and Sales LLC has given me the utmost respect and courteousness in all regards and my experience with them has been nothing short of fantastic. I have unfortunately had to use them twice in the past year but I find them to be hard-working, timely and efficient in their work. I heard about them a few years back from a friend and have continued to use their services ever since. They do amazing work! 5/1/2014

I have been taking all of my vehicles to GROTON AUTO BODY AND SALES for many years. I would never go anywhere else. The work that they do is very high quality. Everything from body work to paint matching is done with precision I recently had a wreck and took my car into them. Richard and Lisa are great! more
