They argued with me about the way to cut my dogs hair. I just wanted a simple shave everywhere, they insisted on leaving some facial hair. They finally agreed to cut it the way I want. I get back 3 in a half hours later and they cut it the way they wanted to. My dogs were not shaved, they had long hair on their legs and face, and as an added bonus there was a 3 inch scrap on one of my dogs back with bald marks next to it... I was very disappointed as they came highly recommended, but I will never go back there. Also, the hair on their face was not even faded in, so it looks like they are wearing a mask. Everything from their legs to their face is uneven. more

For all of the pooch lovers, beware of the pet grooming Grosse Pointe Salon. What a nightmare for my three best friends. They spent over 5 hours there and when I went to get them I put the two little girls in the car. When I went to get the third I was told there had been an accident. I guess my little guy wasn't paying attention and sat on the scissors which cut into his privates. I was so upset and went to put him in the car. When I opened the car door there was blood everywhere on the seats and dash. One of my little girls had been cut and they didn't bother to tell me. I had to pound on the shop door to get back in and they would not accept responsibility for her injury. After $120 in bad grooming fees I have to live with the guilt for leaving my dear friends in the hands of people I thought I could trust. Wish there was a place that truly loved pets and didn't treat them like meat. more

Fine Grooming Salon 8/17/2008

Grosse Pointe Pet Salon is a great place to take your pet for grooming. They have decent prices and do a really good job. They really seem to like animals and take extra care in making them look good. My dog does not mind going here at all, he knows he will be treated will and that is a big plus. more
