Groomer Ruth Pet Salon

I've used Groomer Ruth for my two dogs for almost three years now. She does a great job. My dogs actually want to go to the groomers now. Before I always had to drag them in like we were going to the vets.\r Ruth has a way with animals that amazes me. We go to New York for at least a week every year and use her for boarding too. I've even called her to check on them late in the evenings and she not only answered my call, she was at the shop doing ""potty walks""!! She's always available and willing to fit us in on short notice. My dogs almost seem reluctant to leave when I go to pick them up.\r I'd reccomend her to anyone who needs their animals bathed, groomed, or boarded. She's like a nanny to my pets and they love her. We (my pets and I) call her Auntie Ruth!! Pros: Conventiently located in downtown Wendell, available for early drop off and late pick up Cons: My pets want to stay and aren't as excited to see me when I go to pick up. more

Groomer Ruth is a great place. She has done light grooming and toenails on all of my Tervs, and bathed and groomed several Malinois rescues at a discount to Rescue. She also provided doggie day care. She understands Belgians as she had Tervs as a younger person. Staff members appear to be mostly family, so there are a variety of children and personal pets in the shop most of the time, giving it a homey feel. Even my "Talon Queen" Qita allows her toenails to be done with out great fuss and muss. more
