Grog Restaurant & Bar 5/31/2006

Located on Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) in Bryn Mawr, PA, The Grog is a great, laid back place to enjoy quality pub food and drinks. The food is good and the menu has a nice selection. The staff is always helpful and friendly. You can go in jeans or be more dressed up and you will feel comfortable. You will have a good time here. more

Good food, open late 9/17/2005

This pub-like restaurant had surprisingly good food, and I especially enjoyed their hummus that came with pita bread and slices of tomatoes and cucumber. While there were a few young people, the upstairs features mostly an older and more subdued crowd than I would have expected at first glance. It's also nice to have a place open later than most other restaurants in the area. more

staple 8/22/2005

I thought nothing could beat the old Mallory's that was here before the Grog but I was pleasantly surprised. It's been a while since Mallory's dissapeared, for some of us it will be missed, Grog however does it well. The place is well appointed, comfortable, service is fast and they have a great beer selection. As for the scene, let's just say you will never not fit in. more
