from the early 40s when freddie grimaldi owned it to the mid eighties when joya did this was one of the best italian resteraunts in the country.excellent plus.its now mearly good but worth a visit to this real italian -sinatra type place.truly a east utica landmark. more

One of Utica's Best 12/29/2005

The Utica area is known for it's Italian and Grimaldi's is one of the best. The outside of the building is not much to look at. The inside is sort of a classic Rat Pack feel. The food is great and goes well with a nice glass of wine. Pros: Food, good parking more
